Lyman Micro-Touch Electronic Powder Scale 1500

Very happy with it. I have many scales and it is my standard lately.

Why am I having these primer ignition issues?

Seat them more on a single-stage or something. Gently but firmly. Maybe eyes and ears :)

    X-TREME Bullets

No TB for std .38, no need. 6.0 of HS-6 is a perfect plinking load. Very accurate and light.

Inline fab stand leverage on bench

I have the standard inline fab mounts and ergo handles on 2 Redding presses, and the Dillon mount on a 650, with their roller handle. On a standardish height bench, the mounts create the perfect height to stand or sit on a stool. I just added the second Redding mount for a Big Boss II, and...

    Do I sell a 19-4 for a new model 66?

Listen to the wife. Not only are they always right, never sell a collectible Smith like that. You can't touch them for 350 these days, and blue ones are worth quite a bit. Now, for a durable hunting and playing .357, get a 686, not a 66. Blasphemously, I might even consider a GP100 for the...

500 S&W special RCBS dies bulging cases

This is interesting. My friend chops magnum brass down to Special and loads 350 grain plated or jacketed with no issues. Does 12-something fps, gently. Have to ask how he expands.

    Collet Bullet Pullers

I use 3 of the RCBS units with all the 'normal' collets. I keep one in each Redding turret head. I plan to replace the non-sliding T (L) handle with a stainless socket-head cap screw and allen wrench to allow operation even in a crowded Redding turret head full of dies. This is the only issue...

    22 tcm?

There is also a Glock conversion from them, but it uses special, snubby little bullets that are short enough to fit in the Glock magazine. Be advised these ".22TCM9R" bullets are not available separately yet, and my friend's first attempt to use the regular .22TCM bullets short-loaded in the...

    Silly CCI primer issue

The RCBS universal is not spring-loaded, just slightly loose. I have had no issues with CCI or any primers. Polishing your pin may help. The decap assy shown above is not for use with the universal decap die. Dillon does use spring-loaded pins to prevent pullback of the primers.

    Which press?

Best SS press Best is usually accepted to be the Redding Big Boss 2, followed by Rockchuckers. Although typically almost $300, they are frequently on sale under 200. For example, they are $204 on sale/backordered at MidwayUSA right now. They were just 179 on sale at one of the big reloading...

    10mm Inaccuracy. Help!

This sounds like undersize bullets and/or the barrel. See if you can borrow a Lone Wolf or other aftermarket, cut-rifled barrel. Made a big accuracy difference in my 20/21 with Extreme 180 plated flat-points my friend loads to about that speed. The polygonal rifling doesn't like some softer...
