CZ-82,83 in 9mm makarov, good power, like .38+p, its small, 12 rd high cap mags, cheap, and dead reliable.

I prefer the 7 rem mag for long range shooting. It has less drop than 300 mag. And only kicks a little more than 30/06.

M39 barrels are free floated....the stock's brl hole is larger than the brl -- but some m39 brls do have minor contact with the bottom part of the stock where it exits the stock.

My gunsmith says fluting a brl. messes up the harmonics.

My SAR, WASR, and Romak rifles all say Cugir on them.

Canted sites, no big deal in most cases, if the front site is canted the rear site will normally be canted the same way so they will still line up without even adjusting the windage...the gas tube will normally be canted in same direction.....this isnt a big deal unless it causes binding of...

This hook came in my WASR3. Is this a new pattern, or an old one? I nvr seen one like it..reminds me of that RSA retaining plate. Installing the safety through the "spring part" is the only tricky part, its got some pretty hard pressure on the pins. No tools required!

if you want match type accuracy from an ak you need 2 things...handloads, and a crown thats been lapped by a pro.

ruger m77 for sure, those rifles are awesome!

as far as buffalo bore 125 gr. tested and rated 1800 fps.. from a 3in brl you lose around 200 fps -- but the 158 gr. you only loose 75 fps, and 180 looses 100 fps out of the 3 in brl.

a my current fav. little black gun, the plr16 is everything I expected, its a really nice piece, light accurate reliable. Got the tru-glow on top, looks like the same FH as the other plr up there^^ a few. The sling makes shooting without a stock rock steady, its a reverse stock, push forward...

its insane how much imported akm's have gone up in price...the wasr is almost the only option,,,spending over 500 on any ak is to much. So A WASRGP is what I think you shoul go on and get.
