UPDATE: I isolated all of the cases left that still had corn cob packed in them and spent a few hours with some spring hooks and got them all cleaned out and deprimed.
There was never any liquid in the media.
I just finished tumbling them in that fine Zilla media and they look GREAT.
Thanks to...
Tumbling them without media shook a lot more loose but they always turned over and then the rest stay in there. Then I rubber banded a bunch together. and held them primer-side up by looping around the center post.
I was kidding about throwing them out unless the ants really would eat the corn...
I messed up BIG TIME and used some corn cob media from Walmart to clean and polish some .223 cases and it is now stuck in about 1,000 bright shiny cases. The media is just the right size to get stuck and won't easily come out.
I'm about ready to throw the whole mess out unless somebody has some...
Thanks! NOW I know why the difference.
Lee will modify a shell holder, I just need to see if its justified in cost or just toss the '380 misfits'. The Lee Loadmaster is a progressive so I doubt I'd find another shellholder that would be compatable.
I have one of those gadgets that picks up...
My post about the 380 reloading wasn't looking for solution, I already have that answer.
I am just curious about the difference in some 380 cases and why the difference?
I just recently started reloading 380 on my Lee Loadmaster. It uses the same shell holder (turret) for the 380 as for the .223 cases for 'MOST' cases but rejects Fiocchi, Perfecta and Tulammo cases. They just wont fit.
Lee will modify my shell holder but I don't want to mess up what works for...
I picked up a couple of Lortone wet tumblers, sans the tumbling jugs, at a garage sale. One is the single length and the other is the double length.
I use Walmart 'Great Value' apple sauce jars and they work perfect.
AND its Sooooooo good for me. ;)
