I picked one up for my SR9c when gander was closing. 75% off was hard to pass up. I'm quite pleasantly surprised with the fit and function. I am sure if varies by model, as others have noted.
I had to send mine in for the same issue. I tried everything to get it out. I even broke a wrench.
I think mine was back in 3 weeks, but that was ~6 months ago.
My lady has a charter 38 that is partly pink. I like shooting it :)
Her other guns are fun colors too: leopard SR22 (we cerakoted it), working on a silver and aqua AR. She not "into" pink, but likes fun style. I don't care as long as she enjoys it.
Nice, thanks!
I did realize that it came with a pair of "spacers" that will make the stock longer. I may try those first, but I can't tell if they would be the same length as an adult stock.
HI folks, I have a youth model 500 (20g) that my kids and lady use. I'd like to have a full-size stock for it (I need an extra adult shotgun for a sporting clays outing). Does anyone know if it's simple as buying something like this? http://www.gunbroker.com/item/627852462
Thanks!
I've done this twice. Wanted 308, somehow grabbed a box of 30.06. It works in the Garand I have acquired since then.
Still have a box of 22 mag sitting there with no purpose...
Help my lady finish her AR. We're going to try cerakoting on our own. Maybe.
Find an outdoor range nearby, join.
Go shoot sporting clays at least once.
Savage 93R17bsev. I don't have a 17, and it's funky looking.
I've got my "bases" covered, so this year I'll pick up something I really don't...
Ah, so many that I love. SR9c is great. I'm LOVING my victory now that it's tricked out a bit. The p229 with a p228 slide on it is pretty darn sweet.
But, my favorite has to be the P226, stainless .40. It just fits me. I'm a DA/SA kind of guy, I guess.
I live in a VERY liberal city, and I have heard of exactly 0 people with a new interest in guns. That's a bunch of hooey. There ARE "liberals" that enjoy guns. Heck, there are entire online communities dedicated to this, often with the idea of removing anti-gun stances from the party platform...
Only gun I've sold was an FNP-45. I shot it VERY well, loved the feel actually, but rounds jammed in the magazine. I heard it was a win white box ammo issue, but that was my cheap ammo supply at the time. I sort of regret selling it, but I know I used the money to buy a gun that I still like an...
I have 4 C&R rifles on a rack in my bedroom. Not visible to guests, but I like to look at em occasionally. They all either have the firing pin or part of the bolt removed, so they won't work without some major effort. Everything else is in the safe. I hope to fairly soon build a false wall in...
No, I'm not voting Democrat, but I do understand why. Until the Republicans can get a decent candidate that is not crazy, it will be hard to sell to reasonable people. I refuse to vote for Trump, but might have considered some of the other candidates despite my distaste for many of the social...
The Beretta Pico is DAO, and has a second strike capability. It's a 380, but it's small and super-flat, has great sights, and a pretty darn stiff trigger. The price is good on them too, around 280 even at Gander. There were some early-model issues that seem to be worked out now, though my early...
