    Thoughts?

I have a friend that will sell his Citori 525 Sporting Clays NIB with the case and all of the goodies for $2K. You guys have a better idea of prices, so what are your thoughts on the price. I think it is a good price. I have fired the shotgun and it fits me nice and it has what I was looking...

    Looking for an Over/Under

Ok guys, my knowledge of the over/under shotguns are quite limited. I like Skeet and when a chance pops up, I go out for some Sporting Clays. Currently, I use a nice Browning semi-auto Gold Sport that is well used. I like Browning products so I am staying with Browning. A friend of mine has...

    45-70

I have a 45-70 that has a hammer that stays up a bit high and creates some interference when moving the bolt back. This causes the lever movement to be difficult and not smooth. Do I need to order a new hammer or just grind down the top of the hammer down a bit?

    P238 (Colt Mustang)

Ok, that little lever that you have to push down to install the slide finally caught me. I slipped and over extended it to a point that it will not return up right. How in the heck do you get it back to the up right position?

    1911 Frames

I am looking at putting a 1911 together. Right now I am looking at the first piece, the frame. Currently, I am looking at a full size (5") Caspian frame. Before I chunk the money down, I was wondering if Caspian is the best choice or is there another one that I missed. So, what is your...

    Parking Lot Carry

Crud, my wife starts at a new job and they specifically state that you will not carry in your car. They even wrote that they don't care if it is legal in that state, you will not have a firearm in your car on our parking lot and we will search to make sure that you don't. Talk about you...

    2 Stage Trigger

I got my Wilson two stage trigger for my AR installed. It is really smooth at set at 3.5 lbs. Here is the rub, it says two stage. I thought 2 stage was something like my National Match, you take up slack then you get to the trigger action. However, the Wilson hits the trigger action right...

    Berretta AL 391 Disassembly

I am new on the Al 391 and I am trying to remove the cocking handle. I instructions say remove and it just will not come out. Is it one of thoughs that you just need to yank harder or is there a trick to this problem?:banghead:

The wife has her shotgun now.

Finally got my wife her shotgun, a 20 Ga Beretta AL391 with a 26" barrel. A friend of mine won it at a match and sold it to me for $700 tax included. My wife loves it and was able to do a complete skeet course for the first time. Life is good:p

    Is it my imagination?

Is it my imagination that gun dealers have started to jack up the prices of weapons due to HB1022? I just went to a gun show down here looking to buy a carbine and it seemed that the prices were jacked up over $100 on carbines that would be affected by this stupid house bill.:fire: :cuss:

    Good mid-priced Semi Auto 20Ga

Ok you guys and gals, especially the gals. I am looking for a nice Semi Auto 20Ga for my wife to use for skeet. She 5'6" and 105# soaking wet. She can handle the 12Ga but for a limited time. They are just to heavy for her and the kicks take a toll on her. There are a few that I am looking...

    IDPA Weapon

Ok guys and gals, I just started IDPA and at this time I am using a Kimber Ultra .45. I would like to go to a 9mm because the ammo is half the cost of .45s. I have narrowed the list down a little bit but none has really stood out as the chosen one:uhoh: . The list include the following 9mm...

    Redfield Scopes, which one

Ok guys, I bought a 30-06 with a new 3-9x40 WA Model 800633 Redfield scope. My wife's uncle gave me an older 3x-9x Widefield Illuminator Redfield scope, in the box hardly used. What is a person to do?? Is it best to keep the new scope on or change scopes. Which one is better:confused:

    Kimber .40 cal Ultra???

I am curious about the Kimber .40 cal 1911. A gun dealer commented that the .40 cal 1911 are picky on how the weapon is held and will jam if not held right. Does anyone out there have any experiences on the .40 cal Kimber??
