Thank you all for the replies...I didn't mean to start a flame war. The specialty shop owner in my area (Gunstop) is a Dillon guy, and stocks all of the parts. He does have a couple other presses on hand, but mostly blue stuff. I'll probably go with Dillon for that reason alone.

I don't have the punch set yet, but that is the plan. I tried a little Kroil, thinking that may do the trick, but it seems that the spring is just really strong. It moves without a hint of binding. If it is still a problem, I'll replace the whole shooting match with an upgrade.

The bolt catch will not engage on an empty magazine...I believe it is because the spring is way too stiff. It is difficult to make it engage with your finger even. I ordered a replacement spring/detent from Brownells, and a punch kit to get the roll pin out. Is there anything I need to watch...
