Seems my entire crisis of block dimensions was of my own lack of oversight.
The Gen 3 18 inch SPR guard I purchased has an ID of 1.75", and therefore any lo-pro adjustable block would fit off my .875 24" BB.
B4 I realized this I took advantage of Memorial Sale and picked up 20 in Ballistic...
I'm most-assuredly more narrow-minded than most, but this is exactly the reason I don't support the likes of S&W.

Building a 223 Wylde rig with 24 in BB just to I can work on expanding my comprehension of tailored heavy loads..as soon as I work out my gas block issues that is (posted thread on that this week).
I hope to work from 69 to 77 grains looking for that sweet spot.
Learned that lesson working around high volume equipment from early 20s. Ingrained as of now, I'm a poster child for its benefit-perfect hearing in my 50s... wish I could use then when the gain is cranked on the amp but I tell myself that's why I saved it in the first place LOL
Said rig is in pieces awaiting solution to this dilemma. I purchase pieces only when I can get good deals (Father's Day sales, Black Friday) and am about to build out this [truly] long rifle ... once I get the logistics of this gas block resolved.

That seems to be the most logical option- only got this guard as it was only 18 in length guard available. I could have barrel cut to 20 and seek out a 15-17 inch option with increased id.
