Saw the Spyderco Tenacious for 25 bucks at some of them. They're all gone in the few I checked.

    22 magnum for a ccw?

I would prefer something centerfire and with more oomph than a .22 mag but it can do the job... but so can a sharp stick and the sharp stick will probably be more effective

The gun range seems empty these days.

9mm and .40 Smith is pretty much nonexistent. .223 can be found IF you know where to look but you will be paying a premium. .45 has been relatively stable in my parts, but I've been shooting my .44 mags more and more and I've got plenty of that .

    What firearm fired today?

    Colt's old .45 and Smith's .44

    What's the funniest/oddest thing you've heard/seen in a gun shop?

Where do I begin... Guy and his friend at academy "ya want a .22 it will bounce around in the bad guy" Gun shop manager: "Women are stupid and should be directed towards a revolver, dont insult them with a semi" Armed guard: " yeah I got the police version of the Glock 17, others have to get...

One of those big milestones in a new gun owners life

That was when I was first starting out not today, I actually can and do conceal model 29s quite easily, I'm not super tall (6'1 ish) and do it with a simply rugged or a mernickle holster.

    Taurus 856UL

Maybe 10 years ago they were accurate, but now they're producing semis and autos that are catching alot of people's attention. I cant claim to have a huge experience level with Taurus (605,85UL,856,65) but I do have quite a bit with Ruger, never sent a taurus back in I've sent in 3 rugers.

One of those big milestones in a new gun owners life

I carried a ruger superblackhawk in .44 mag, with the 3.75 inch barrel IWB with a CME holster. Things I remember were: - Always being concerned about printing (now realize that most people dont pay attention to their kids let alone you) - Get a good belt - an SA .44 may not be the best option...

    44 Mag-255 or 305 grain loadings

For that particular weight, it in general? Curious about that. I dont typically shoot 300 gr. Often I shoot Remington 180 gr load that hits about 1558 out of a 5 inch

    Ruger QC Opinion

I bought a ruger redhawk in .45 Colt/ACP that would not chamber Colt ammo in one charging hole. I sent it in and had it back in a week. I was a little more ticked off over the phone to some nice lady at their center than I should've and I am ashamed of that. Ruger not only fixed my gun but sent...

    44 Mag-255 or 305 grain loadings

Hello, If I'm correct the bullet weight isn't going to be the determining factor for loading in a smith (other than a considerable OAL that would only lend itself to a redhawk or TC) as long as the pressure is within bounds for the smith it should be fine, Underwood typically puts which guns...

Seeking advice for a gun sale

I've had those exact emails before. Final asking price??? Its what I qouted in the ad, "as I'm highly interested?" Who the hell talks like that? I've done many deals online, more than I would care to say online, I get these emails from time to time as well. Dont send your gun, there is no...
