I have one and love mine. It's my main CCW.
As far as mags, stick to the Bersa mags. The pro mags stink and tend not to stay open after the last shot.

XD9. I have one and it's my favorite pistol. Two family members have the Baby Eagle and it's an awesome pistol, but purely a range gun.

I have a Taurus 85 made in 1988.
I'd like to perform a "do it yourself" trigger job on it.
Is it the same internally as a S&W J frame?
Are there any good websites that really explains how to do this properly (tools, processes, etc.)?

They are cheap and really stay in place (unexpected based on looks). Mine doesn't have the strap though and it stays in place just fine.
