Well I have an AR, a 4" .357 and my girl has a shot gun. I have a CZ 527 Carbine on the way too. So thats four guns total. Gonna wait on the safe till I get a few more revolvers.
That M629 looks real nice though. Gonna have to drive around and shop the used market on my day off.
Yeah a "kit", with the holster and some other stuff included as opposed to just a gun.
And I just cant buy a gun with an internal lock. It just bothers me for some reason.
I was gonna buy a gun safe with the money but then I saw a Ruger Alaskan 3" .44 kit and decided I'd rather have another revolver than a big cheesy glorified storage locker. The one I saw was priced in the high 9's so before I grabbed one I thought I'd ask if there was something else I should...
I only go to one of the GM stores in Houston, there are three I can think of, and their prices and service are pretty competitive with the other shops in the area. So, expensive and terrible. It's almost impossible to talk to one of the three guys manning the six hundred foot gun counter on...
“The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good...
My old girlfriend's mom took apart her husband's revolver, as best she could, and threw a piece of it in the garbage each week. She thought because he was a lawyer he would get in a lot of trouble for having one. Shes the kind of person who doesn't ask questions, just decides things based off...
The Tavor, SCAR, M14 and piles of ammo all seem like great options but when I looked up the CZ 750 on THR search function I saw a thread in 2008 where I talked about getting one. I think six years is long enough to wait, its time.
Trying to figure out what, if anything, I want to spend a nice windfall on. It comes to just under two thousand so I'll pose a question to the forum, what would you get yourself with that kind of money?
Also: Keep in mind that I'm asking what YOU would want.
I think its pretty straight forward; It's a scout rifle. If you're into the Jeff Cooper scout idea then it should have some appeal. If you're not into scout rifles then you probably won't like it.
I really want a 527 Carbine in .223 to replace the one I lost. Trouble is I just can't fine one locally. I can't really find one online for that matter, so a I'm looking at maybe trying the 527 Lux but while I have found a place that can get me one of those, it's not in stock for me to handle...
