I bought one to just see how well I liked a CZ striker fired pistol. Turns out I it shoot very well and like the feel and weight. It is now in my carry rotation.

I like this pistol a lot. One of my faves and in my carry rotation. Are you looking at Gen 1 or Gen2? I'd pay that for a Gen 2 "M"; the Gen 1 should be about $50 cheaper (no optic cut, more angular grip, "Delta" in large letters on the grip).

Ouch. My LGS charges $10 for an FFL transfer. The shop across the street charges $15 and the "expensive" guy charges $20. Buying new, I use a couple different of out-of-state dealers in order to avoid paying sales tax in addition to the lower online prices. My LGS considers me a good customer...
Update: To be more precise, it is the Witness-P Carry (also known as the Force Carry). In reviewing the RIA site, you can see the photos of the MAPP are clearly marked "Tanfoglio".
Actually, the RIA MAPP is made from Tanfoglio parts; it is the Witness-P. I have seen versions that still had "Tanfoglio" embossed on the grip. Compared to the Witness P, the MAPP is less expensive and the Sarsilmaz design is cheaper than both. I have always assumed the SAR design borrowed a lot...
