I must say I’m usually happy with what my LGS offers me. I say usually because it hurts more trading in a gun I bought new. I recently sold them back a gun I paid them 800 for and got back 700. Not too bad since they do have to keep the lights on.

I’m assuming it’s a new production King Cobra. The one I had was a solid gun. My only complaint was the chambers were tight, it did not like my reloads.
I quit using H100/296 in carry ammo due to concussion and flash. It’s a great powder for full power loads but that’s all it good for. I find 2400 more versatile. Skeeter’s load of 13.5gr over a 158 is easier on the ears and still packs a heck of punch.
