    Pyrodex in a flintlock?

I appreciate the info. I’d definitely be fine with shooting Swiss. The local shop I use always sold Goex and it’s really hard to find. I’ve shot Swiss before and it did quite well in my flintlock. Where do you get your Swiss from? Thanks!

    Pyrodex in a flintlock?

I have been shooting muzzle loaders for about 10 years now. I have always used Goex powder, either 2f or 3f depending what I am shooting. With the closing of Goex and black powder being hard to come by now. Is it possible to use Pyrodex P or RS for your load and still prime my frizzen pan with...

    Crosman PSM45 BB Spring Pistol

I recently bought this Crosman single action BB pistol to shoot inside my basement on cold rainy days. My kids and myself have had more fun than I can measure with this rascal. It’s a decent shooter and hold 20 BB’s in the magazine that slides right into the grip. The sights are non adjustable...

    Steel bbs in rifled barrels

The Daisy 408 dual ammo pistol has a rifled barrel and you can shoot BB’s or .177 pellets through it. Accuracy is pretty decent with both as long as you don’t try to stretch your distance too far.

Scope for my RWS Diana 54 22.

I have a Hawke on my Air King 54 and it’s been very reliable. It’s only a fixed 4X scope but has held up well. I have a 4x16 UTG on my 52 that’s probably got close to 10,000 shots. So a UTG or Hawke are reliable in my opinion and experience.

I find the Diana 54 a little challenging to shoot but she will shoot.

I have an older 54 that I love. I find that it shoots just about any pellet accurately. Mine is a .177 caliber. I’ve just got a 4X Hawke scope on it but it’s been bulletproof and does what I need it to.

    Crosman F4 optic

The very first air rifle I bought was a Crosman F4 .177 caliber break barrel from Walmart. Around $90 out the door. The scope was definitely the weak link but it was good for the kiddos shooting tin cans. I wanted to upgrade the scope but wasn’t going to spend too much on a $90 gun. I looked...

    Crosman Premier Lite 7.9 gr

Adventure Outdoors in Marietta GA sells the 1250 qty cardboard milk carton Crosman 7.4 gr pointed Premier pellets but not the 7.9. Walmart sales the 7.9 gr Premier HP pellet in a metal tin but only a qty of 500. Both these shoot very well in my air rifles.

Scope for a new air rifle

I purchased a Hawke fixed 4 power for my Diana Air King 54. I really like it so far. I had a Center Point for a short time but it lost its zero around 100 shots. I had a good friend that had been around airguns for a long time and he recommended the Hawke. I purchased mine from Pyramid Air.

    Savage Mark 2 pre accutrigger

I recently picked up an older Savage Mark 2 in 22LR. It has a 21” heavy barrel and is in very good condition. It came with a Nikon P223 BDC scope. I’ve not even had a chance to shoot it yet, weather and work has kept me off the range. For you guys that has shot these, are they pretty good as...

    Interarms Mark X 223

I picked up my Interarms Mark X in 223 today. Our weather was not the best today but I was able to put 20 rounds down range. I really like this lil gun. It’s a blast to shoot and is fairly accurate with 55gr Armscor ammo I bought when I picked it up. My question is, on the receiver it has...

    Interarms Mark X 223

Thanks for the info! I was looking to work up some handloads when I finally pick her up. I have not found a whole lot of info on these guns. Do you know what your twist rate is? Also what powder does your rifle like best with? I do know the one I’m getting has a 20” barrel. I’ve alwat been...

    Interarms Mark X 223

As soon as I picked the rifle up and shouldered it, it just had a good feel. The feel of the action made me think of the 1903’s I have. Smooth and solid. I’ve been wanting a 223 platform bolt gun so I think this one will be good for me. Thanks for the info.

    Interarms Mark X 223

This particular rifle has Mark X on the receiver. Is it labeled mini somewhere on the receiver I am not seeing? Or is that a name that’s been used in referencing this particular caliber? Do you have any idea the years these rifles were produced? Thanks

    Interarms Mark X 223

I recently ran across a Interarms Mark X chambered in 223. It is a used rifle in a local gun store near where I live. I loved the look of the gun and feel of the action, very smooth. Has a laminated green colored stock equipped with a Nikon Prostaff 3x9 scope. I went back a couple days later and...

Hello to everyone. I’m 44 years old and have been shooting since I first set in my dads lap and fired a 1950 Marlin 39A at age 6. Love everything from percussion cap long rifles to modern day firearms. I love the feel of a bolt action and love the smell of Goex. Cap and ball pistols to modern...
