    Started with a 6946, added a 5906, then a 3913, then a 5904, and a 4513TSW and most recently a 457. Yeah, you could say I’m overly fond of them:)

    S&W 3913 Beauty.

    Great looking pistol. You will not be disappointed with it! Mine runs best with 147g ammo. These days though with ammo, you take what you can get/afford. For magazines, for range duty, ProMags will work. To improve the ProMag, swap in a SW follower for a 3913. Ends up costing about $25 total...

    Second and third gen 12 round mags will interchange, pinky rest is just for larger hands. 5900 series flat bases wii fit 6900 series magazines.

    Hey all, there’s a vendor over on GB that has a bunch of NOS Pachmayr grips for sale. They have them for both autos and revolvers. The name is “leadlace” Check them out if you are trying to find a set.

    Does any video show how to install original, thin grip on S&W 5906?

    They are pretty easy to change. After watching the video, it's like a 5 min job. You will need to remove the Hogue block that holds the strut. That is integral on the SW grips.

    Works fine in my third gen Smiths. Actually like it better than standard 124 grain.

    5906 and 6946 for me. No complaints about either one.

    9mm Remington $7.97 / 50 rd. Box

    Mine still has the 50 round boxes on the shelf. Bulk packs cost more, go figure. Remington 124 gr FMJ were at 10.63 for 50. Winchester NATO 124 gr. FMJ at 27.46 for 150 rounds.
