Liquidation of Large (100+) Firearms Collection

Sorry about your dad. If the collection has any really nice and rare/semi-rare you might could try that auction house in Maine. Anybody will charge auction fees, etc. I agree with the advice to wait till mom moves to Florida. But I would contact the auction house in Maine. I can't remember the...

Has anyone ordered from ClassicFirearms in the past 2 week?

They're getting hammered like everybody else. Millions of new gunowners are killing every gun outlet and LGS You can expect 2-3 week delay according to the grapevine.

If an antique firearm undergoes a 4473, is it antique still from a legal standpoint?

Those old guns should have the year of manufacture on the receiver or barrel. Another example is the M1891 M-N rifle that I own. It was made in 1917, not 1891 which is the year of the model change.

Storing my C&R shotgun at my brothers home in another state.

Provided your brother isn't a prohibited person just send him a gift card from Academy, etc and he can get his own gun locally. Avoid this illegal movement/transfer of guns. We all are trying to keep you out of prison.

What are your guns with the most increase in value?

I paid 85.00 for a M-N M44 Polish carbine years ago and got 200.00 for it from Cabela's. I had it only 2-3 years when I sold it. Not a bad ROI. No telling what my other M-Ns maybe worth.

    From the sunshine state!

Learn the basic safety rules such as keeping your finger off the trigger until you have identified the target and you're sure of the backstop( area behind target). Practice dry firing after you made sure the gun is empty. Practice loading and unloading a magazine. Use a magazine loader device to...

If you had an "extra" 1K, what gun would you buy?

Mare's leg in .357 or .45 from Henry. None of that wimpy .22 for me. The Henry's brass receiver rocks.

interesting case on uber's firearm ban

If Uber, Lyft, etc, do have written contracts with the drivers forbidden them to carry guns, then drivers would be breaking the contract. And subject to termination.

Handguns Dad brought back from WWII German Soldiers - Stolen 1960s - Just found serial numbers

I read of a guy whose father fought in Korea with an M1 Garand and was able to locate that exact same rifle that his dad had carried during that war. He gave it to his dad for his 80th birthday. So, its possible you could find those guns.

interesting case on uber's firearm ban

You're referring to the legal doctrine of "respondeat superior" which is where an employer is responsible for the employees actions. Their is no such relation when an independent contractor is involved so Uber's fear of being sued for the driver's actions is unfounded. They just don't like guns...

    FFL headache

Doesn't need to be a physical piece of paper. Email it as an attachment. Of course for repeat business they will have your FFL on file. I've always swapped FFLs with dealers and other collectors when buying. When I bought a P64 Polish made 9mm (makarov caliber) from Classic Firearms in North...
