I bought a G21 and most of the guys down at the range said after I had it for a while I would be selling my SW1911. That didn't happen, I have some other GLOCKs but as far as a 45 I'll stick with my 1911.

If you are comfortable with your grip on the glock and plan to keep it for concealed carry then I would go with the G19. At least that way when you shoot either under pressure you will have consistancies with your draw, grip, sight acquisition, gun functions, etc.
As far as KB's go, they have happened in many different types guns for various reasons. The design of the factory GLOCK barrel which makes it feed so reliably also leaves an area of the shell casing (when chambered) slightly less supported than some other designs. An overly stressed shell casing...
