I chosen Ruger KP95 9mm. I don't have very strong arms, so I will stick with the 9mm. :)
I think the 10mm selections will be very popular compare with S&W .500. :)
but if I got a choice, I will take a 12 gauge pump or AR-15 instead of the 9mm. :)
+1
recommended to get another 870 for your girlfriend( get a 20 gauge if the recoil of the 12 gauge is too much for her). ammo recommendation is '00' buckshot. :)
You can use the single shot shotgun to train up new shooters. :)

there's an old thread about a bear attack , recommended read. :)
If I didn't remember wrongly , 2 hikers were attacked by bears, got mauled , gore and eaten. by the time the calvary arrived , all they found were the belongings and carcases of the hikers. :( :what:
Rifle- Shoulder support,long range.
Shotgun- Shoulder support, impressive stopping power for close combat.
Handgun- it's definitely better than a melee weapon or bare handed.
nice looking wheelgun. :)
you gonna get it for HD/hunting ? :)
it's chambered for the .44 Mag. or some other caliber ?
it's gonna cost at least $1000 ?
yes, everyone needs to learn to protect themselves in time of trouble. who's the best person to do it ? the cold hard truth is yourself. the cops will take time to arrive at the scene. :)
maybe you can ask/convince your daughter to pick up shooting if she's not into it. by the time she's...
if I'm unarmed , I dun think I would wanna get in there and fight. fight with what ? Even If I'm a martial arts expert , I wouldn't wanna fight a BG armed with a firearms barehanded. :banghead:
most probably scenario is to lock the office door and barricade the door with several...
I would try my best to calm everybody in the office , tell everybody to take cover behind their desk.tell the person whom I can trust to lock the door after I went out to get my pistol. Return to the office and locked the door and stay low at ready to fire position. I dun think I would wanna go...
I think it's time for you to ask her whether she's interested to go shooting at the range with you. Do you own a .22LR handgun ? if not you can rent one at your local range. After some training with a .22LR handgun , maybe you can introduce her to a .38 Spl (wheel gun ) / 9mm pistol for SD. :)
