New Lee inline bullet feeder/rotary magazine for SPP/Pro 6000 - Beta testing

I finally got around to ordering a 35cal bullet feeder kit. The first thing I noticed is like others have said its really crowded with all stations full. I had play around with it a lot to get it ti clear my powder feeder and there is almost no clearance on the die lock rings. To me its kind...

Lee Pro 6000 Case Feed Issue

Hmm. just a thought here. It seems the problem as I see it is that the feeder needs a certain amount of weight being pressed on the shell cases to avoid tipping. When the tube is fully loaded the many cases on top of each other provide ample weight or down pressure to stabilize the case being...

Lee Pro 6000 Case Feed Issue

For what it is worth. I have had the same problem loading 38sp. I have tried every thing I could think of. Readjusted several times with no luck fixing the problem. It only happens when I get too the last few cases in the tube. I just learned to watch for it to happen and manually replace the...

New Lee inline bullet feeder/rotary magazine for SPP/Pro 6000 - Beta testing

Yep , I received an email notice today from Titan. Good price but shipping seems a little steep @ $16.49 to Ca. I might wait until Midwayusa has them with free shipping over $49.00. Even with shipping Titan is cheaper than Lee online though.

Lee inline bullet feeder available @ Lee

Looks like Lee is now showing the inline bullet feeder for the pro 6000 as being available. its listed for $70 there but its listed @ less on other sights but not yet showing available. So it should be available elsewhere as soon as they start shipping to retailers.

So what is the 2023 Lee Pro 1000 ?

LiverLife, . Good information, I never gave it that much thought since I am new to progressive loading its not something I would have thought of. Of course I don't currently do any competitive shooting with any of my reloads its a non issue but if I was I would probably so more of it on my Lee...

So what is the 2023 Lee Pro 1000 ?

Here is an honest question, Why would someone prefer a new pro 1000 over a Pro 6000. If you are looking to get a progressive press it seems to me you would be pretty limited with only 3 die stations.Even if you do not use all 6 on a pro 6000 you would still have the option if you ever did want...

Range Day, First time shooting my newest purchases.

Today I finally got out to the range to try out my New Ruger GP 100 and my Henry Golden Boy 22. I also got to put a few rounds out with my Ruger SP 101 too. The Henry was a rifle I bid on at a Friends of the NRA dinner in November that My wife made me put away till after Christmas. The GP 100...

Lee Six Pack Pro primer seating issue (Resolved, user caused)

I don't know if this would be an option but what if you took the new pin and put a spot weld on the bottom and possibly ground it flat to fit. That is if you have access to a welder or know someone who does. Other wise maybe Lee could provide you one that is slightly longer. Just thinking out loud.

My initial impressions of the Lee pro 6000

Take this with grain of salt but It seems to me that 15 grains of powder mixed with nearly a pound of other powder would be less than 1`% contamination. If it were me I would just put the lid on it and shake it really good to make sure its mixed up well and call it a day. hopefully someone who...

My initial impressions of the Lee pro 6000

Stefan, I too a a fairly new owner of the pro 6000 and initially had similar issues with the primer seat pin and dropped primers. I don't know if you have the newer tapered pin in your press or not but I replaced the original straight wall pin and the problem seems to have gone away. I am not...

    Youtube restricting gun channels

I have noticed a lot of talk on this subject lately and have never used Patreon. If I understand correctly patreon is a way to pay or reimburse content providers more directly. So my question is do you have to subscribe to each and every provider and pay a fee of $1 or more per month or can you...

Been considering getting into a progressive press

I think you made a good decision. I too was following this thread before Xmas and ordered one mid December as my present to me. I like you ordered it in 38/357 but also ordered a 9mm shell plate since I shoot both calibers. I upgraded from a Lee Classic turret which I still will use for limited...

New Lee inline bullet feeder/rotary magazine for SPP/Pro 6000 - Beta testing

I am confused, What do you mean by the needing a plastic cap for the magazine feed. Are you referring to the rotary bullet feeder . It looks like you can use a single tube feeder for now. Also do you know if they are shipping these to retailers yet or only inhouse customers online only.

Using Powder that is probably 40+ years old

I was just looking in an old Lymans Reloading guide that I used back then and it lists there accuracy load as 52.5 gr of IMR4064 my old notes indicate I stopped at 52 Grains and called it good but I also notice later guides list 51 gr as max recommended loads for 150 grain bullets. I think most...

Using Powder that is probably 40+ years old

I have a can of Dupont/IMR4054 that I purchased around 1980 that is still 90% full. I used it for my 30.06 when I first got into reloading on an RCBs Rock Chucker single stage press which I still have. I have not reloaded much rifle loads accept for 30/30 Winchester for my Winchester 94 that I...

The Air Rifle is a USFT Field Target Rifle #13 . It was invented by Larry Durham and later manufactured by Tim @ Mac 1 airguns. It shoots a .177 caliber 10.2 gr pellet at 950 fps. It is super accurate and wind tunnel tested to shoot nickle size groups @ 50 yds. It has an 8X40 Tasco Scope used...

    Load development vs plinking ammo

I would like to say I am getting a lot of good feedback. Sometimes I get too hung up on chasing the perfect load without really needing or wanting to take the time to achieve that goal. My past re-loading has been on again off again as to load development. I am not a competition shooter and...
