Walkalong --- That chrome pointy thingy that looks like a small plumb bob could be a chrome bolt on spike that some people bolt on their motorcycles because they
think it looks badass.
In 12yrs of shooting matches, I have seen that happen a number of times. Usually the shooter says he/she was making the gun safe while changing stations so they
wouldn't be DQed.
If I already owned a 1911 in .45acp, I would get a revolver in .45acp.
If I already owned a 1911 in 10mm, I would get a revolver in 10mm.
I like the commonality of ammo and components for reloading.
Don't own a 1911 with the undercut but shot a few. I didn't notice any benefit with the undercut. When I had an Officer's model Colt, I put a short extension on the
mag (just enough to get my little finger on).
Agree ^^^^^^^ I was commenting on Mark Mark's accuracy test as to being a fair comparison.
I am 100% in on cheap box-stock guns. I shoot a ATI Commander .45. The only thing changed was the recoil spring, ala Bill Wilson, for shooting hardball loads. It's been
reliable and accurate. It works...
One could look at your target results and say the Nighthawk doesn't shoot that much better (with that one load) than the Tee-Sauce SDS Green Service A1, so it isn't
worth the thousands extra.
BUT --- With ammo it likes the Nighthawk appears to be a one hole shooter. Will the Tee-Sauce SDS Green...
Despite your groups, of those 3, I would still take the T-Sauce. You just have to find the right load for it. The money saved on purchase price will allow for a lot of ammo,
whether bought or made. I would rather be able to shoot a 3in group fast to POA, than snake eyes slow.
