    Dumbest thing you heard/saw in a Gun Store or at the range.

    I saw a guy who had loaded his shotshells with a slug and buckshot at the same time. The first round blew the barrel apart. Fortunately, nobody was hurt.

    I am trying to decide the exact same thing. I've narrowed it down to the xs sight systems or a williams fp. Neither requires tapping the receiver, I believe.

    One more vote for the Marlin. I can't say enough good things about mine. The Henry is kind of funny looking in my humble opinion but I don't know much about it.

    The reciever isn't drilled on the left side. It is drilled on top for scope mounting, though.
