I have 2 requirements.
Be heavy as possible.
Still fit in a 1911 mag.
Would like the carbine rounds to still be usable in the 1911.
I loaded up a test batch of really cheap 250gr hollow jacketed points to test around 15 years ago in a 1911.
The recoil was noticeably worse than 230gr which was...
FN 5.7x28 products. From battle star glatica to Stargate.
I think the P90 is going to turn 30 in the next few years and still seems futuristic.
But us Americans are so retro we have to take the P90 concept and stick it on another gun from the 1950s.

Small rifle primers.
I bought a crap load of large rifle and pistol primers last time when they eventually went back on sale and there was no buy limit.
You can still buy primers on gun broker if you really want to pay 10 to 13 cents each for them, not including shipping.
I don't need them that bad.
Well you picked the right time.

I use unique and fill my 38 specials up half way. I think it's about 6gr and a 110gr bullet.
It's a real hot 38spl+p load but fine for a 357mag.
That may exceed the max charge for a 38spl+p.
I don't like loads that barely fill the case.
