Ruger SP101: Love it, Hate it, or...?

The 4” .357 model is interesting, but it’s only 5 shots. My Glock 20 equals it in power but holds triple the ammo and weighs the exact same.

    Bought a Sub2K40 - not sure why

I recently bought a Ruger PC carbine and the thing is a boat anchor. The Kel Tec is far, far lighter. It’s also much shorter since the magazine is in the grip vs far forward of the triggerguard like on the Ruger. Wishing I’d of got the sub2k.

The Nemesis is a junk holster. BOB MIKA will get you sorted out. None finer made.

    My 1891 Carcano Cavalry Carbine

These are rugged, reliable, and accurate little carbines. Sweet shooters in 6.5. Spaghetti rifles are neat.

    1851 Navy

I know. Uberti, however, most certainly does. What many don’t understand is the wedge on Colt open tops does one thing: attach the barrel to the frame. It is NOT meant to “set the barrel gap” or any other nonsense. If your wedge can be tapped in and it changes your barrel/cylinder tightness...

My 2022 Pietta London is a fantastic revolver. Correct length arbor. I shot it just the other day.

Is the Beretta A300 a proven item yet?

It’s got a ton of great features and a good price. Looks like it COULD be an amazing gun. But I’m in the same boat. I’m not going to be a beta tester for it. It’s got to prove itself. The fact it’s made by Beretta USA is a bit worrisome. From all my experience, they just don’t have the same...

    Mosin Nagant prices $$$$

The carbine Nagants are something. How those commies shot those without ear pro is amazing.

    CZ Bobwhite

My new Bobwhite pierces primers with alarming regularity. CZ seems uninterested in fixing it. Caveat emptor.

    MI CARBINE MAGAZINE QUESTION!!

Magpul could probably make a polymer one if there was a market. But these guns are historic relics and are now ultra collectible. That, and .30 carbine is hovering at a dollar a shot these days. It’s very expensive to shoot if you don’t reload. I imagine few shoot these antiques much these...

    MI CARBINE MAGAZINE QUESTION!!

Carbine magazines are junk. Guys in the war would exchange them as often as humanly possible. They’re very flimsy to say the very least.

    Ontario Knife Co. SOLD

I’ve seen what an OKC bayonet can do in close quarters combat. I can’t recall seeing more blood in one place.

Ruger SP101: Love it, Hate it, or...?

Excellent guns. Strong enough to digest an unlimited number of full bore .357 magnums with no issues. One of the toughest most durable ALL STEEL revolvers ever made. They’re built like a tank and the weight helps take the recoil or maximum velocity magnums. The LCR and J-frames are lighter...

    Over and Unders Are Fun

Over and unders are a sporting gun. Not what I’d choose for the “task” at hand but horses for courses.

    Glock 36? Enlighten Me

The 10mm combines large muzzle energies with good capacity. I’d love to see a Glock 36 chambered in 10mm. Maybe it could incorporate a 7 round clip.

    Maverick 88 SECURITY 12GA

In my area, .410 is 2-3 times the price of 12 gauge all for tremendously less effectiveness.
