    Ribeyrolles 1918 Build Project

This is a project I have been thinking about for a few months. Ever since I have read about the French Ribeyrolles 1918 carbine, it has intrigued me. As a fan of the Winchester self loading line of rifles, the French Ribeyrolles is sort of an advancement of TC Johnson's original design. Being...

Do aftermarket parts affect the value of older commercial guns like they do mil surps?

I recently bought a very nice Winchester model 63 at a show this weekend for under $700. It’s an early 8400 SN with a Lyman Alaskan All Weather 2.5X scope. For an original deluxe 63, I was surprised the price wasn’t twice of what I paid. From what I’ve read, the scope is the rarer kind with the...

    Russian Optics

I am currently looking at getting Russian optics for my BFPU AK but I’m not sure the best way to get them. I originally had this built for coyote hunting (and just for the aesthetic) but ever since I had bought my WWSD rifle, I can’t go back to my AK so now it is just a plinker/fun rifle. I had...

    Early FN A5 Identification

I recently purchased this FN A5 at a local gun shop. I knew it was an earlier one based on the magazine cutoff and the safety but I’m not well versed on specifics to determine age. I’m hoping I could get some more info on it. The shop had it for sale for $550 and gave me a $50 cash discount...

    Mauser 1914/34 Pocket Pistol Magazines

Yeah I was searching the junk/miscellaneous magazine boxes at the OGCA show. I think I’ll have to keep looking. I’m probably gonna buy after market mags for now and then buy an original when I find a good price

    Mauser 1914/34 Pocket Pistol Magazines

Yeah I’m tempted to. I have a Winchester 1907 and I bought a triple K extended 10 round mag for it. It functions fine with alittle modifications so I’m thinking I might have to do the same with this.

    Mauser 1914/34 Pocket Pistol Magazines

I recently traded my Glock 17 for this Mauser 1914/34 fifth variant (aka the transitional model). Wanted to start collecting old pocket pistols and this one was a good one to start the collection. It’s in really good condition and the fire blue on the some of the parts is still in good shape...

    Concerning user thu298

Has anyone bought anything from user thu298? Looking at buying a merwin and hulbert revolver from them but they seem like a fairly new user

Bull Creek Arms 1897 Trench Conversions

I am currently interested in the bull creek arms 97 trench shotgun conversion. I know they are not cheap but they look like the best trench conversion I’ve seen. Does anyone have any experience with them? Everything I’ve seen, they are excellent conversions but I’m curious if anyone here has had...

5.7 WWSD UPDATE + 5.7x28 mm hand loading data

No they are not. Going about 1950 fps. Probably would load a bigger bullet than 40 gr for subs anyways

5.7 WWSD UPDATE + 5.7x28 mm hand loading data

Here’s a bit of an update from the 5.7x28 mm WWSD. First, I have swapped out the straight 4X ACOG with a 1.5-4X LPVO. Second, I have finally put some rounds through it and have tested some hand loads through it. It shoots and handles great. No recoil at all and is quite fun. I did have a lot of...

    5.7x28 Factory Light Strikes

I currently built a WWSD 2020 in 5.7x28 but when I went to sight it in, about half of the rounds were light strikes. I’m not sure if the 5.7x28 had harder primers or it’s something with my firing pin. I was shooting the SS197SR blue tipped VMAXs. Any suggestions?

    32 SWL Shotshells

No I’m using the 32 cal wads. They might not be in stock right now. I opted for the metal and vegetable wad because it was the same price as the double vegetable wad package. But you can also sharpen the mouth of a case and then use a hammer to punch some out from cardboard or card stock. Look...

    32 SWL Shotshells

Was always wanting to make shotshells for my 32 SWL and I finally have. They work a lot better than I thought. Using about 49.0 gr of #12 shot and 1.5 gr Unique. The wads i found on sage outdoors. See pictures for results

    WWSD in 5.7x28mm

Update on the 5.7 build. Wasn’t even thinking about the hassle of having to notify the ATF of interstate travel with an SBR so I’ve decided to do the 16” barrel version. It’s also gonna be alittle better anyways to squeeze out some more velocity. Bought a 13” carbon fiber handgaurd and A2 flash...

    WWSD in 5.7x28mm

Yeah but I think it’s blowback as well. And having 5.7 in a more conventional AR platform would be optimal

    WWSD in 5.7x28mm

I’m buying the BCG from CMMG, it’s radial delayed blowback. No gas needed. That’s the cool part of it. But the WWSD rifles are DI.

    WWSD in 5.7x28mm

Yeah I’ve pondered on buying a PS90 for ever. Very unique and a very cool package but I’m not sure the cost justify that. Especially with the cost of 5.7 as well. Also the triggers are serviceable to say the least. This upper would be like 1/3 the cost of one

    WWSD in 5.7x28mm

Id probably handload for it. I know thats it’s kind of finicky to load but I’m no stranger to that (I reload for 351 WSL and 219 zipper) That way I can cut cost on ammo to way less than it sells for.
