LGS has a bunch of red dot powder. Not much else for loading supplies. ( They have pallets of loaded ammo for sale at 2X the normal price though - and folks are still snapping it up )
That’s funny. I did the same thing with red dot. I have a jar from the early 90’s. Loaded 8 rounds of 45acp, fired them, and never opened it again.:rofl:
I’m looking forward to trying out Unique. Some day, I guess. I did try a few 210xtp over 13 & 13.5 IMR Blue. 13 was good, 13.5; primers were mashed flat like dimes ran over by a train.
Never tried myself, but if I had to I’d FL size in a 308 die with the expander ball removed and see what you’re working with. Then run it through a 708 die?? Good question though. I’d like to know the solution as well.
You likely need to use more of the magical fire dust. I am acquainted with the the condition that you describe ( when working up a 9mm load with IMR Blue before there was ANY published pistol load data.) There still is no data from Hogdon. Worked up slow, and ended up great! Same with IMR Green...
