I went to my local Ace Store and asked the salesperson for gun screws. He had no idea what I was talking about. After looking in the Hardware section there they were. Sitting on a shelf by themselves. Inside the assortment box was a few thread pitch gauges. Snagged 2 of them. Think I only paid...
Stopped at a LGS yesterday. They didn’t have primers and salesman stated if they couldn’t get them at a good price he refuses to get them. However, coming back from vacation I stopped by a LGS in New Mexico. Had all the spp you wanted. They still had all of them when I left.
Been chasing goats in New Mexico for 30 years. Wife decided to go with me for the last 15 years. We always have a good time on a private ranch. Congrats for a enjoyable hunt
@Pat Riot Thanks for the lead. They had 1 in stock and will ship to US. A tad expensive on freight but we’ll worth it.
Gun has around 150 rds thru it. Extractor was never taken out. Once Glock has them available I’m ordering a extra one. Thanks folks
The first 4 digits of the serial # is ADPN. From my research it uses the old style extractor and the two different extractors are not interchangeable. The slide was not damaged. Still waiting on reply from Glock.
The firearm had a loaded magazine inserted. After the 3rd rd the extractor blew...
Took the wife to a outdoor range to shoot her G17. She asked to shoot the G44. Loaded a mag for her and 3 shots later the extractor flew out. Unable to locate it. I believe it’s Glock part #39070.
Thanks
I went to a local swap meet this weekend. You’re right. Ammo was selling at a premium price. One person wanted a buck a round for 9mm. I guess supply and demand is up there right now. Search around. There are still some decent prices out there.
Dillon is a fantastic company and their warranty is second to none. Took 1 of my 650’s to Dillon a few weeks ago for a overhaul. Walked out with a new 550. Got a call from Dillon yesterday. My 650 is being shipped back to me at No Charge except for the freight charge.
The CZ Shadow 2 is an excellent firearm. As a matter of fact I own 2. Look at USPSA (competition) Nationals survey and the CZ Shadow 2 was the #1 firearm used in production class. If you reload the OCL is a tad shorter than other 9mm due to the short throat. Great purchase
I purchased a #1 (25-06) in 96. Thing is deadly accurate. I have taken an antelope every year with it. Now if I could just find 95 gr molly coated Berger bullets I’d be a happy person
Gonna make a long story short. Guy had BNIB Dillon 223 dies. He wanted 200$ for them. I told him he was full of crap. Asked me if I had SPP which I do. Ended up swapping 1K SPP for the dies. I paid 25$ for 1K SPP.
The NE section of AZ is great if you don’t mind to much snow. I moved to Show Low in May and love it. Elevation is 6300-6400 feet. As far as hunting goes you need to apply for tags. Archery and muzzleloader for elk isn’t the easiest but not hard to get. Rifle season is about a 3 year wait to...
I use the Vectan GM3 powder for my 9mm. Works great. I have used Brazos bullets for 9mm and was very disappointed. Could of been my CZ barrel. Leaded up like crazy. I gave 1K rounds to a buddy to try through his STI Trojan to see if he had same results.
You need to replace the springs in the magazines.
Get the extra power springs if you don’t like
“slamming slide”. Also check the follower on the mag and make sure it’s making good contact with the slide stop. It is a possibility the slide stop is worn out but I doubt it.
