    CZ 75 B

how much $ damage are we talking about? Went a few weeks ago to a local store (nice and honest guys) and asked about ceracoating. Was about 200, which is okay, but then I told them it was for a H&K P7. Went up to 300 Still okay, but when asking about any kind of guarantee that the...

    CZ 75 B

Sometimes I think I am a pica pica, looking for shiny things and place them in my nest........... Joking aside, for mainly practical reasons I always prefer stainless, but nothing looks as good as a nice bluing with some pretty wooden grips! And yes, as you stated, the CZ website reports that...

    CZ 75 B

Yeah, and I thought $1050 is high !!!!! Okay, thanks for all the replies, I really do like the shiny object, but not for $1050. Based on your answers, the next time I'll drive by the shop and he still has it, I will offer him cold, hard cash $850 and see what the gentleman says. Luckily I am...

    CZ 75 B

Someone offered me a CZ 75 B stainless steel high polished for $1050. Pistol was never shot, but if I buy it, it will ! Have a CZ 75 Compact in 40 cal and love it, perfect fit, fantastic look and high quality. Did I mention it, also a sweet shooter. My question is, is the price reasonable...

What is the last gun that you bought?

love the legal, private sale of toys, Without a trace, and as always, cash is king Sweet little 45, shot so far only a box through it and it seems to be a little tack driver. Not quite as smooth as my trusty SIG 1911 GSR, but we'll get there eventually. And always keep in mind, have a few...

    Looking for a new 357

Ruger GP 100 or S&W 686, unfortunately have right now only 6" Ruger and used to have 8" S&W, but either one in 4" would be a fantastic choice. .

What firearm have you owned the longest?

Not really sure it counts? A pellet rifle Diana Model 24 D from 1968. Still popping occasionally a squirrel in my backyard. Of course, only during hunting season or when being attacked...............

Which handgun "PURCHASED NEW" was the best value for the money

Ruger Mark II, bought in 1984 for about $180 and still going strong. Of course, replaced over the years a few firing pins and springs, but still reliable and accurate as it was 36 years ago. Downside: need to be cleaned every 6-700 rounds because of some build-up, LOL.

    Still learning handgun safety

You are correct, the extra weight is a constant reminder that you are "dragging" something along. Carry IWB (H&KP7, SIG 239 or Makarov), anything larger (SIG 1911, SIG 229 or 226, Glock 20) is on my strong side in a paddle holster, sometimes I do use a retention rig, in particular when riding...
