Why I Can’t Buy a Sig SF Pistol

Actually it’s just DA or TDA as in “Traditional double action”. The DA is understood to mean a traditional double action when the first shot is DA and all subsequent shots are SA. And least we forget, everyone’s red headed stepchild, DAO;)

    Sorry, another budget 9MM thread

I’ve been impressed with the PSA Dagger. Basically, it’s a less expensive more ergonomic third gen. model 19. ( Pic from PSA website)

    Got myself a SA-35

After watching Hilton’s Q and A concerning Springfield’s new offering, my take is he is of the mine that S.A. took a legacy design and improved it. Better features, materials, and ergonomics. I was most interested in what he had to say concerning the fitment and metallurgy as compared to the...

Can the 1911 experts PLEASE explain this?

For all of these safety failures to happen simultaneously has to be what, one in millions? Yea, I’m buying a lottery ticket! :what:

    Public Service Announcement

Let me preface this by saying that I’m a Smith and Wesson guy and have been for decades. The first handgun I ever purchased was an M&P model 10 in 1970. Wish I still had it as I’m sure it would work just fine. But very recently I have had some dubious experiences with S&W handguns. Just...

    Another Choice, From Kimber

Looks like a precious product of passion between a Springfield Hellcat and a Sig P365.

This price seems high for a 3rd gen S&W...

Several years ago I found a 1006 on GB for 1000. Gun came with one mag only but was mint and close inspection revealed that the gun most likely had never been shot. I felt damn lucky to find it and I will pay a premium for mint condition as I am mostly a collector now days more than anything...

Anyone have the 43x 15 td mags in stock?

I’ve ordered two from Shield direct on two different occasions. Both times they were back ordered. Most I waited for both was 2-3 weeks.

New Sig P365 in .380. Why??

That pawn shop attempted robbery happened in my home state. In Georgia, if you are witnessed committing an on view forcible felony you’re open game. You can be executed in the spot. That’s the law. No fear of out of control social justice D.As.

    I guess people want a .40 now......

Just like the 90s, if it looks like we may be getting closer to a 10 round mag limit, we’ll see a precipitous rise in popularity of .40 s&w. People want a little more umph from their cc. Deja vu all over again. .45 acp will become more popular also.

Seems a little goofy for a working gun but it looks fine.

Ruger 1911 vs Kimber middle 1911s

The TRP I have started life as a loaded. According to Springfield, the original owner bought the gun in 2003 and immediately sent it back to Springfield Custom for the TRP upgrade. It is one fine shooter. Nothing wrong with a Springfield loaded especially if you want to upgrade the pistol at...

Ruger 1911 vs Kimber middle 1911s

I have the same model Kimber you do. A fine gun. Also have a Ruger SR wl commander. Also a fine gun. To me, I have to say the Kimber is a more refined gun than the Ruger in fitment with a better trigger and just seems to be a tighter gun in all respects. The Ruger does reinforce the frame at...

Warranty on Glocks, Kahrs, and Springfields?

I had a problem with Kahr mag follower chipping and causing slide to not lock back on empty mag. (Common problem with Kahr mags at the time.). Called cs, they took my address and mailed me replacement follower and two spares. Still have the spares unused.

Which .40 NOT a S&W, Beretta, BHP, or Glock

I know you said no S&W but this one is iconic. One of the originals. Still a great pistol and hard to top. Still on my shopping list.
