Here's one I've had for awhile and it's a bit different. 1983 Colt SP1/ R6007 in Electroless Nickel (Coltguard). Colt only produced approximately 1000 of these in this finish.
Front IWB Kydex righthand holster/ Appendix
Smith & Wesson Shield 9mm (very slim and very all day carry comfortable) w/ extra magazine in left rear or front pocket. Although this is a Performance Center model which comes from the factory ported. I've replaced the ported barrel with a non-ported...
I've got two Kimbers in 9mm. This one which is a fantastic shooter:
Kimber Stainless II 9mm
And this one. It remains new in the box unfired condition. Ok, I'll try to keep this short but I bought it new when they first hit the market late in 2006 from a large Kimber Master Dealer in South...

I've checked but unfortunately, according to Colt they will not letter indicating the Vent Rib Barrel. I do have a copy of an older letter from a Colt rep explaining how they came about as described in my opening post. It also mentioned no exact number is known but "not many" were built...
Here's a pic of a Colt Stainless frame that someone left the rubber grips on way too long before looking. As mentioned so much for stainless being rust proof. IMHO, a Glock would come close to be the one you can store away and forget but not totally of course.
I picked this up a few months ago and it's apparently a pretty scarce piece.
1982 Colt Trooper MKIII w/ Vented Barrel and in Coltguard (electroless nickel) finish.
Early in the production on the new Colt MKV revolver production some Trooper MKIII complete parts were found except MKIII...
New guy here, on Christmas eve saw this on a local for sale ad but thought it was a scammer due to the price. Made the call and it turned out to be legit.
