I used the old wack a mole Lee die set when I was a teenager. Wait till you set a primer off in the dang thing... In your HAND. It looks something like this. :eek::eek: Buy one of the little C presses Lee makes. The Lee Hand press at a minimum.

Don't get me wrong fellas. i use an "06 on deer too! NOT with 180 grain bear/moose rounds. My cousin hunts with a 300 Win Mag in West Virginia. Shoots them from one hillside to the other lol. Again, NOT with 180 grain bullets.

It's a BJ barrel code that has me sorta stumped. Not sure if it's a 1962 or a 1989. The other has a barrel code of OG. got that one figured out right away.

Doing some research on a couple model 700 Remington's I picked up. The new Remington company says they don't have any records for anything prior to the sale. Just wondered if anyone knew if the serial number database was retained out there somewhere? I can narrow down build dates by barrel...

I know a guy who hunts Michigan whitetails with a '06 and 180 grain round nose. I've never known him to shoot a deer over 150 lbs.:eek:
