    Let’s talk die maintenance

Every 200 cartridges I clean the seating die - Dillon has those convenient cotter pins and with soft swaged & thick lubed bullets it gunks up fast. NC brake clean with both sides of a qtip and we're back in action

.38 Special-Reloads, or not? Western wadcutters.

I don't think so. New starline cases vary by a few grains a piece. I think your expected variation for weight of brass, bullet and primer together for each cartridge is greater than the expected powder weight and will be truly worthless. I tried to speed up my process of counting cases going...

    Another disappointing die purchase

Hornady produces cases. Hopefully they replace both your die and the brass

Let’s see an odd item that you use in your reloading process.

You mean reloading brushes? The cosmetics aisle is always kind to cater to the home loader :)

    Winchester LP primers

It's interesting how Win has/had(blue) the same-for standard & mag lpp yet separated between standard and magnum SPP. I am fond of the Win LPPs, at least the blues maybe because I know the packaging better than the white black and reds that have taken up a large space of stash now. I like the...

Where can I look for primers?

But in the third quarter of the 20th century we angled for our allies to standardize on the 30 in partnership with our friends in Belgium before we performed a bit of a realignment ourselves and Europe tooled up quite a bit for it, no? And here we are today closer to Britain's original proposal

Where can I look for primers?

The best place to buy primers is at your local bullseye pistol league, NRA or CMP. I know some Grey beards with 80K+ stocked up and no one would sell to me for more than $40/brick when they were $118 shipped from Midway. And hopefully they get you into Bullseye shooting if you aren't already

What 45 acp bullets are you using

18K bullets isn't enough for you? I load Zero for most everything 45 auto and 38spl. 230 and 185gr JHP, 185gr and 200gr SWC. The Hornady XTP are pretty good too.

Quick Question: Easy way to separate SPP & LPP .45 brass?

If you don't have a ton of volume ... any new to me brass gets reamed, and the small primer won't take the large reamer. Segregate those to a special bin for smalls.

    Hornady XTP v FTX bullets?

There is also the HAP, which is like XTP but conical jacket no petals for "action shooting" vs defense

    Hornady XTP v FTX bullets?

FTX is supposed to offer more consistent expansion at lower velocities and in gel that isn't bare. Notice for the 10mm hornady uses the XTP for critical defense, but for 45acp and 380 auto which are slower velocities they use the FTX. The FTX 45 185gr used to be sold as reloading components...
