    Very stupid primer/powder question...

***. This forum is always so eager to help it misses the point or the bigger picture. Reload your own **** and take responsibility for it minus the cute.

    Looking to upgrade my scope

I would not dismiss 2FP for your particular situation given your feedback. The 5.5-22x50mm Nightforce NXS was my choice for 600-1k F-Class and F-Open. There are optically better options but these are the gold standard in tracking & reliability (IMO). Vortex does offer good reticle options...

    Looking to upgrade my scope

I'll open with a few questions to help your cause and not being a dick. Simply going north on Vortex's portfolio may appease you. What are your gripes with your current optic you want to replace? Do you prefer dialing or holding, mutually exclusive to either axis, and are distances known or...

    Inexpensive .22 rifle

The Savage Minimalist has gained some favor from me for a backyard at-ready. The mag feeding isn't optimal but it works. I prefer the bolt for the variety of ammo and flexibility.

Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

I eyed this in the checkout line at the local grocery store today. Smithwicks & a cheesy magazine I could not pass up. Living large tonight, Cheers!

LEE Load Master Series, What's this about?

Thank you. I guess after all these years I had heard CCI cups were a bit "harder" but never anything where Federal was at a detriment (not like the brass life). I've loaded Fed primers 100:1 vs CCI. Seems like more of a Lee issue then a Fed issue unless its just lawyer statements due to...

LEE Load Master Series, What's this about?

?? Why would Fed primers (or any other brand) be excluded? I thought the cups were generally the same. https://leeprecision.com/load-master-45-colt.html (or any caliber)

What would you do with this rifle & scope....

Depends on distance/range & if the POI deviates from POA in your practice or use-case when using the knobs to dial... or trying to use (I assume a simple duplex) the reticle outside of the center for windage or holds. If not, it doesn't matter. The presented duplex reticle in the erector tube...

    Consistency

^^ True. One must remember to keep that score card or that one <0.5" 3-shot group on a mech rest, for prosperity.. ...and the internet :)

    Metal 10mm RDO capable?

Some EAA Witness frames are drilled and tapped for a "around the slide" optic mount. There are now reflex mounts that attach to the slide's rear sight V. Here is a annoying video for the Loopy one.

Ramshot TAC is the short barreled 308 King

Great post. I've never had success with Varget relative to velocities in short barrels but I am usually pushing 175-180gr SMK/AMAX. I don't see any Varget-Scener loads in my log. Something new to try and also with the 6.5. Thanks.

Retirement: Yet another reason to get a new handgun

Gorgeous pistol and I like the choice in holster. Also, congratulations! I figure why wait.....buying now is JUST like saving for retirement, and I'll have what I need. :) However, by then or by that time it might very well be a Particle Magnum. She deserves her own pillow. What? TWO pop...

What kind of press(es) do you use?

Rifle: Three RCBS Rock Chuckers and one longer ram model. Rifle & Pistol: A Redding T-7 (love it). Pistol: An APP and a LEE 4-hole'er Classic. I like the "turret cakes", gets the job done and the dies stay set. No progressives and powder is all metered and weighed. My handgun...
