There was an explosion of sorts...in the mag well. That's what prevented shrapnel from going everywhere.
Yet every other mag I have painted, or put Duracoat on which is what this is, never broke.
After having it out before and not running b/c it did not like the Better-Mag adapter, I switched to the Catch22 Bolt-catch and 15-22 magazine adapter.
It runs great now. :D The scope is a BSA Sweet 22. Not bad for the 1st time out and still sighting in. This was at 25 yards.
I say go buy one...
I didn't say the rifle blew up. The rifle is fine. The Endomag caused the issue
Endomag is an insert for PMAGs to enable one to fire 9mm ammo.
I am switching to an AR9 lower and never using Endomags again. I've already contacted the company, Mean Arms.
I have been using Endomags for a bit now (Purchased a 3 pack), in more than 1 firearm, until yesterday...
First, one of the Endomags would not function right so I stopped using that one. Then another was so defective that it blew up the PMAG it was in. Please see the link of photos below for...
You have confirmed that Black dog drum fits the 90/22 kit? Promag makes junk.
I have a black dog drum for my 15-22 & stuck it in there just to see how far up it would go for the hell of it. Not far enough lol. Not far enough to fit my AR-22 that uses 15-22 mags either...
I am OCD a lot too, but you can take a break with the OCD on a 10/22, as I am sure you already know, since they eat anything & run well even dirty. I have had a few over the year. Zero problems
lol I'll try to get pics tomorrow. I chose Desert Tan. Thought about hitting it with a pattern via rattle can or Duracoat, but I think I'll leave it alone. Wish it had a sling mount, though
