    Underwood vs Buffalo bore hardcast

Buffalo bore is rated out of real guns too, and stacks up with power levels/velocity. Not sure about density, hardness, etc. I have both, but as others have noted BB is more expensive. I've begun buying more Underwood over time as a result. Arguably, BB has the best true FBI load on the market...

That's the holster I use, but for Bodyguard.

    Mouse Gun Carry

It's also to make sure there isn't an accidental discharge if one is in the chamber. In fact, that's the number one reason followed by the others.

    Mouse Gun Carry

I use a Desantis pocket holster. Quality. Usually a .380 Bodyguard.

With guns like the Dagger and BRG9, why pay more for FN, Glock, Walther, H&K, etc?

Yes, just like any product, a certain amount is branding, history, and marketing. Smith and Wesson has a 170 year history and like many brands, is iconic. There is a certain reliability and durability factor though that Glock and Smith have for many models, which have been proven over some...

Earmuffs and Ear Plugs worn together

Yup, next to the rifles and even some handguns, I can tell my muffs or plugs are insufficient. I almost always double up.

Earmuffs and Ear Plugs worn together

If you look at some of the ear muff ratings, they are 'if you wear plugs too.' Many basic ear muffs don't reduce the sound sufficiently, especially if people are shooting higher pressure/louder guns nearby such as ARs and so on. It absolutely does reduce the decibels further. I combine the two...

I bet if you flash that on social media anti-gun people will think it's some kind of real, fully single action assault derringer.

It can be some kind of gag or test. You need like a special grandiose case on the mantel for holiday guests. Ideally a backyard range to test their mettle.

    Bond Arms

Yeah, I reached the same point with my .357 barrel. I only shoot .38s out of it now. Honestly, I'm relatively young, but I'm half convinced I developed what seemed like tendonitis in my elbow from shooting hot ammo out of small light guns every week for a year or so. It only developed after I...

Is 5 or 6 really enough in today's world.

I'm in the same area as you. One night during the middle of Covid (Maybe December 2020), I was driving from York to Lancaster at maybe 1 am, and had a bizarre experience. First a car appeared to follow me for a time. Then, I pulled in to Lancaster to get gas before heading home. There was a dude...

Is 5 or 6 really enough in today's world.

Right, I didn't carry until 39 years old. Before that I was in NYC for a long time you know the story, I couldn't. I traveled the world and was fine. I lived in the hood in NYC for a time. There have been several situations I was in that if I had to reexperience today, I'd want to be carrying...

I suspect that there was a lot of wisdom, but also a lot of '.22 will bounce around inside of you' and other myths around various campfires and porches.

Is 5 or 6 really enough in today's world.

I wonder how older folk feel on this topic. I'm in my early 40's, and already I feel as if I've discussed, read, or studied enough topics that almost every social media site feels like rehashing of main topics, from history to firearms.
