I can't believe what I'm reading here. What Mr. Nugent said is in no way a threat to the president. If it was, believe me he would already be in a federal detention center awaiting arraignment.
What I'm seeing here scares me, obviously many people have their heads buried in the sand and are...
Oh, I'm over it. Like I said, this call seemed very suspicious in nature as if it was a scam. I'm a life member, actually a Patron member and I've donated many times to the NRA.
I received a phone call today from a male identifying himself from the NRA. He asked me to listen to a short audio allegedly from "Wayne La Pierre" who was soliciting help in recruiting new members to fight a United Nations treaty for a global gun ban.
When the solicitor returned to the line...
I have to laugh at an early post in this thread. "Law Suit", you've gotta be kidding right?
The Police Officer saw an open trunk and he stopped to investigate. Sounds like he's doing a fine job.
While investigating the open trunk the Officer sees a rifle case in plain view and he further...

Really? I bought a few guns during the same time period and I didn't hear the NRA tell me to buy them. The decision to buy guns was mine and not based on what the NRA had to say.
Personally, I believe those people who are now selling recently purchased guns are thinking a...
I'd have to agree with Kingpin here, I wouldn't have pulled a gun on the guy. To make matters worse I wouldn't have posted the incident here either. You never know, your post could show up at a later date during an unrelated court proceeding. Maybe I'm just too cautious.

Thats a pretty strong statement. What inside knowledge do you have that suggests that the L.A. Sheriff's Dept. pulled the M&P for political reasons. Do you have specific knowledge or are you just sharing a personal opinion?
That may be true. I can tell you that as recent as four to five years ago we were having primer problems with both Win-Clean and Federal Non-Tox ammo. Some of the stuff just wouldn't go bang and we go through large quantities of ammo during the course of a year. I'm not really sure what...
The newer handgun ammo with the lead free primers do not have an infinite shelf life. Unless they have changed the priming compounds recently, the primers on non-toxic type ammo will deteriorate over time. :cuss:
The newer version of the 92f is the 92fs. The only differences between the two are:
1) The hammer retaining pin has a head on it and it appears to look something like a half moon "washer" protruding from the frame adjacent to the hammer.
2) The slide has a cut on the bottom left rail...
I have seen several several broken 92f slides in recent years and several cracked slides as well. Of the cracked slides that I have seen, the cracks began on the left side of the slide near the PB in an area adjacent to the locking block cut out. The locking block cut out is the thinnest portion...
Your Garand has a elevation adjustment knob on the left side. The windage is on the right. Raise the rear sight using the knob and go back to the range. I still don't understand the sanding of the stock.
Just remember to crank the rear sight back down at the end of your range session. Leaving...
