    Northfork primers

But hey, I’m sorry! My supplier took all the primers my customers intended to pay for and offered me these other primers for 3x as much!

    CZ triggers

There really is no difference between the basic mechanics of the safety and decocker version of a CZ trigger group. The work needed to improve the trigger is the same for both versions. My phantom and PCR have triggers just as nice as my CZ75B.

    Glock G-19 or CZ 75B?

I agree with the basics of your arguments, but the question is, how much experience is enough? How much reliability is enough? How many times in your life do you expect to get into a full-fledged firefight with the bad guys? Everyone has a different answer to those questions, and one size...

    Glock G-19 or CZ 75B?

Zak - I've owned up to over a dozen different types of CZ and Tanfoglio handguns, CZ40B, PCR, CZ75's from a 1986 to a 96, and a CZ83, and only the CZ83 ever gave me any reliability problems, so I can only assume you've had extremely bad luck with CZ guns. I've also owned over half a dozen 1911...

    Glock G-19 or CZ 75B?

I carry a PCR and it's no problem for me to have it on all day. I prefer the ergonomics, accuracy, and trigger of the CZ over the Glock. As far as the PCR's reliability, it's not an issue, so why would I buy a gun that is supposed to be more reliable?

    EAA Match or Stock?

Their "gunsmith" is someone you do not want to take advice from. These guns are just as strong as anything else on the market and fairly easy to take completely apart and put back together. You can buy any part you need from Henning Walgren and bypass the folks at EAA...

Is there anything the .40 S&W can do that the .45acp can't?

The .40 I talked to said that his qualifications for going faster, penetrating better, and making louder noises were changes we could all believe in. The .45ACP just shrugged and said he had more experience......

EAA Witness Match 9mm mags problems

The problem may be your mag release. Tanfoglio came out with a better release back in 2004 to address this problem. Go to Henning Walgren's site to check out the replacement - http://henningshootsguns.com/shop/frameparts.html More info here -...

    EAA Witness Feeding Problems

What caliber is the gun? Other than that, the two basic reasons for a CZ/Clone to FTF is weak mag springs or the extractor not being able to hold the round as it enters the chamber because of problems with the extractor, extractor spring, or breechface roughness. Check to see if the extractor...

    CZ 75bd camming

Sometimes I think the amount of camming is just a feature of who put the gun together that day. My PCR has almost zero camming, but out of my remaining 5 CZ's, my "91" CZ75 has the most. Also, the degree of play in the sear cage can affect the trigger substantially. The design of the CZ75...

    CZ PCR, all information welcome

My PCR is my primary carry gun with some Hakan Pek grips and a 18# recoil spring. AFAIR, it has been 100% reliable. I'm not as accurate with it as a CZ75, but that's probably due to it's smaller dimensions, and the longer sight radius of the full-size CZ's. I'm not a big fan of the...

Best out of the box 45 acp

I'd also go with a Springfield Mil-Spec. They are generally reliable, accurate, and you'll have a hard time wearing one out with lead bullets. Besides, 1911's and good triggers go together like pie & ice cream. :)

Which 1911 best out of box?

You don't need to spend that amount of money to get a reliable and accurate 1911 out of "the box".

    Refinishing a CZ-75 Pre-B

Just be aware that although I've never used the Duracoat gun blue, I've heard from other users that the tint is too "blue" to resemble gun bluing.

    Refinishing a CZ-75 Pre-B

I picked up a 1984 PreB a few years ago that had the standard enamel chipped up finish. I refinished it with duracoat with a clear matte overcoat.

    Glocks = Best Handgun Ever

I would like you to please explain to me why you think only Glock firearms exhibit these attributes and why you feel any of the other fine handguns on the marketplace don't? Yes, you have. Please take off your Glock colored glasses & put down Gaston's kool-aid. Glock makes fine...

    Question on peep sight

I picked up a sporterized Swede Mauser with a Lyman 57 receiver peep sight installed. I'm trying to get the sight part off (using the quick release button) but nothing wants to budge. Not being familiar with this type of sight I could use some assistance on how to remove the darn thing Any...

Best aftermarket stock for a SKS

I like the SKS, but at 6'6" tall, the standard stock just isn't long enough for me, and I can't see where a scope is a viable option on this gun. Any tall people out there who have had luck with aftermarket stocks that have a longer trigger pull length? The various Monte Carlo stocks look...
