    That'll stick!

I've told this story but not sure if it was on this site. Wife and I started throwing knives at log rounds hanging in our yard. We got good after a while and I threw my six knives scattered around the round and my wife wove her arm around them, took a picture and sent it to my son. I told him we...

Can't think of where else to put this, so...

This is my story of our HOOTIE. We lived in an 1882 farm house. Many strange things happened while living there, but the most memorable was wife and I sitting on the couch and heard footsteps in the upstairs rooms. All the floorboards creaked when walking around upstairs so we assumed it was our...

dh1633pm The wife and I have been throwing knives for a few years now. Set up a 3 tier of rounds and after a while we both got good at it. I threw 6 knives scattered around the target and my wife wove her arm around them, took a picture and sent it to my son. There was a panicked call from...

Does Anyone Here Still Carry or Shoot DA/SA?

My everyday carry is a FNX40 in 357 Sig. I also carry a Walther PPK/s in .380. Some days I carry both with me. Long time revolver shooter and they both feel comfortable to me.

What is the most recent knife you bought?

Just got this beauty yesterday, it's a SOG Seal XR Flipper XR-Lock Knife. This is a heavy duty folder that will be carried on my hiking through the woods. Sorry unable to post a picture but worth a look if you are looking for a heavy duty utility pocket knife.

CoalCrackerAl Why, why would you dare post that picture of that beautiful Browning pistol. I told my wife after buying a new car last week my secret gun money stash was used up. Now with the ground froze up it'll be spring till I'll be able to dig up another mason jar.

Who hunts big game with a 44mag

When I deer hunt from my tree stand I use my Super Redhawk in .454 Casul. Shot a large doe and it was flipper over on her back and slid back about 5ft. So much more comfortable and safe with a handgun in a shoulder holster while sitting up in a tree stand.

Rimfire rifle vs shotgun for squirrel

My wife just loves to squirrel hunt. She uses a 20ga Remington Wingmaster and freezes them up until there are enough for a big stew. I use a 14" T/C 45/410 and recently got a single shot Henry in .410ga.

    N-frame concealed?

I've carried a 6" S&W Mod 57 in a Roy's Hidden Thunder shoulder holster. With a jacket on it stays well hidden and have used it for deer hunting as well. It is great for a tree stand as your hands are free for climbing up or down.

    What do the ladies carry?

Wife started out with a Walther PPK/S in 380 auto. Didn't care for an auto. She took over my S&W M19 and really liked it but felt it was to heavy to carry. She picked out a S&W 5 shot J frame .38 special. She now reloads her own ammo and shoot it quite well. Life is good and I got my M19 back.

    SCCY pistols, anyone?

Brother inlaw had one and I shot it some. All the bullets came out the right end and I did manage to keep them on paper. A good basic backup gun is what I would use it for.

    Throwing axe/throwing knives

Got a 6pc S&W 8" throwing knife set for my wife and 6 10" S&W throwing knifes for myself. We had a 30" poplar tree fall down in the woods and cut 3 4'' slices and hung them up as targets. With a bit of practice each day we were able to throw within a 8" circle consistently from about 12'. I...

    Adult Single Shot Fans?

I recently bought a Henry single shot shotgun in .410 for squirrel hunting out back. Absolutely gorgeous wood grain and points right on target. I have a 14" T/C contender in 45LC /.410 as well and they both are great squirrel getters.
