    HENRY AR-7 MODS

Completed my black look alike of the movie rifle. I don,t have a high end m68red dot , but I think it looks cool and is surprisingly comfortable shooter. Might zero it this weekend.

Brand new lever action Henry H001stock refinish.

Got me a new classic Henry lever action carbine .22. Nice wooden stock, but I didn,t like the glossy plastic like, most likely polyurethane finish on it…just lacks the warmth of the traditional oil finishes. So I stripped it ( the first scratches of the sand paper were scary, a gasp : what...

    HENRY AR-7 MODS

Thanks. I,m an experienced custom bike builder, but novice at arms and woodwork. But it,s always first time for everything, you try something simple, and gradually progress. Or try complex and don,t be discouraged by a failure , keep banging at it. I refinished my existing rifle stocks...

    HENRY AR-7 MODS

LEGALITY: FOLDING STOCK VS TAKE DOWN RIFLE I'm thinking to recreate the Majestic Arms movie rifle from my AR-7[ [perhaps without the red dot]. I would do it a bit differently. see the drawing It appears from the pictures that it's pistol grip is screwed in and held from unscrewing by a thumb...

    HENRY AR-7 MODS

I,m aware of a few wood stocks for AR-7 But I have not seen a hollow one that would hold the parts inside like the plastic original. I have attempted to make one . I don,t have much experience except a couple of finishes of my rifles. I designed a thumbhole stock for ar 7, it also holds 3...

    MAGAZINES HOLD OPEN FOLLOWERS MODS

And even though AK has no issues with not having last round hold open, I nevertheless modified 2 MOE MAGPUL magazines . According to the web opinion they do not accept commercial hold open followers. I simply bought 2 cheap surplus metal followers , removed an extra metal , slightly dremeled...

    MAGAZINES HOLD OPEN FOLLOWERS MODS

Here,s my open bolt Voere 2005. I bought 2 much cheaper then original magazines : ProMag 10-Round Rifle MAGAZINE fits Mossberg 702 Plinkster Rossi RS22, cut a new catch opening and replaced the followers with the aluminum hold open ones. That open bolt is heavy and of all the .22 you want the...

    MAGAZINES HOLD OPEN FOLLOWERS MODS

I recently became interested in guns, during the time of thr Covid madness and isolation. Love mechanics and always worked on custom bikes. Tinkering with the guns is much on much more convenient scale- sitting at a desk for the most part. I have several .22 options and what surprises me is...

    ASTRA CUB .22 short mods

Thanks. I also have no interest to shoot my hand. That was for the dramatics and demonstration that : it is actually a blank. I,m simply curious and wanted to learn and prove the concept. Plus to share. Besides if you can see, the gas comes from the top opening of the rig, or front . it can,t...

    ASTRA CUB .22 short mods

I love this tiny mouse gun. Very elegant and simple mechanics - thank you John Moses Browning! 1t order of things- all my 22s don,t strike dry- all equipped by hold open followers I made for the magazines. An extended mag release button allows to drop the mag with one hand( ring finger) also...

    HENRY AR-7 MODS

Very nice mods. It looks like the rifle can be improved upon by a user. So it,s not a lost cause. It has a potential. I found on the net a very sexy reiteration of AR-7 by Majestic arms who designed it for the movie “The Interpreter’ I will build something similar. What do you think?
