Knock knock knock… pause knock…pause knock knock…hopefully that is the correct pattern to get let in to this exclusive club. I have heard that I need to send checks or money orders…?.;) What do I need to get in? Plus I want to beat @Mark_Mark in, which as it looks is to busy looking at model...
I have had the AS one for quite a while. I can load 2 mags in the time it takes the others to load 1 mag. So if it’s speed you are looking for I feel it’s the way to go.
So I have a range in the backyard and had about 12 people over shooting. Which means a lot of reloading mags. 1/2 probably had the uplula’s some were using factory loaders, some old school loading with there thumbs. I brought out my American Speedloader…thankfully I have a couple of them but I...
That is a loaded question…seriously it depends on what you’re loading for. For instance a small case (380-9mm) will have more pressure in a “short” case compared to say a 308 or larger rifle case. It’s also the case length, unless you are talking about coal. Most case measurements have a min and...
I have an old 870 wingmaster 16 gauge. 28” barrel with an old Lyman adjustable choke. Great gun. I don’t see too many of them around, so either everyone has them buried in the safe or they just didn’t make that many.
The bag balm is petroleum jelly based with a smaller amount of lanolin added, so I could see that remaining slippery after drying. I spray mine in the gallon zip lock bag, when it dries it actually gets…I don’t know the right word for the description but let’s call it slightly tacky…almost kinda...
I personally think the lanolin mix works great on my progressive press. Maybe no one told my press that I’m using it.
It just makes everything smoother. I lube all my pistol cases that I load. 9,40,45acp 45 colt 38,357 mag and sig 44 special and mag 460 mag I run on my rcbs single but...
Shoot it, a lot, that will help for sure. You can grab some snap caps and dry fire it. But if I’m squeezing the trigger I want to make some noise and throw some lead down range. They come around after a few thousand rounds.
I use the alcohol and lanolin mix. I use the same gallon bag over and over. Throw in some brass give it I few squirts from a spray bottle and rub them around coating them. I dump them on a pan to evaporate the alcohol and dump them in my case feeder, easy and makes it easier to load.
I found if I put water in the bottom tub the pins just fall away. They don’t stick to the cases. I have the Dillon with the handle that turns and I do the same thing with it. Fill the bottom with water and the pins come out of the inside of the cases and fall to the bottom. Then I just slowly...
