so, I'm thinking of getting a Winchester M70 Super Grade... wish they had more calibers to choose from, but don't like the magnums so it's either the 270 Win or the 30-06 Spfld... what would be the iconic M70 caliber choice of the two... I'd get one of each if I wouldn't end up in the dog house...

Thanks Azrael256... I figured it was probably something I was doing wrong and not an incorrect function of the gun... as soon as the rains let up out here in "not-so-sunny" California I'll be getting out to the range to put a few hundred rounds through it... agian, thanks for the reply, POA.

just purchased my first 1911 (SW1911 108285)... after a cleaning and reassembly, I find the slide stop very hard to release the slide... have to use two thumbs to get the slide to release when locked up... it is much easier with no magazine, more of what I would expect with the magazine in...
