You may like the six position stock because it allows you to adjust the length of pull to where you like it. It also make the rifle easier to use inside of a building, if it used for home defense.

Brownells sells the adapter which allows you to use a standard barrel. The adapter is a magazine cap with a sleeve which goes around the magazine tube down to the barrel ring. I looked into it, but decided that the cost of a new barrel and the adapter was not worth it.
