    Anyone bought the Ruger M77/357?

Like the title says, been thinking about this model since I heard about it, wonder if anyone here has one and wants to share an opinion. :)

    Springfield GI Mil-Spec WWII

Took a few pics of my just picked up Friday SA, it shoots pretty well, shot part of my IDPA match with it yesterday, just a little hard seeing the stubby sights! I sandwiched it between my other two SAs.

    Clay Kittens

Ok, I like cats, but this was too different to pass up. Hone those shotgun skills! http://www.richsalter.btinternet.co.uk/index.html :p

    Which surplus rifle?

I'm tempted to buy one of the many mil-surp rifles I see advertised at Big 5 and in Shotgun News all the time. You know, the Mosin-Nagants, M44 Russians etc. I'm very unknowledge-able when it comes to rifles in general, I know about my lever action, my 10/22 and my shotgun, but that's really...

    New Addition

Saturday my new Hideaway knife arrived, very cool little "always" piece. I've gotta say, you'd be hard pressed not to carry this with you 100% of the time. It's made to fit my hand and it really does, this is just a great concept. If you're not aware of these, you can find out more at Front...

    Moved up today (!!)

I've been classied Marksman in CDP (IDPA) for the last year and finally made Sharpshooter tonight:D I felt I was doing well, but wasn't sure I could hold up in the last and (for me) most difficult stage. I did prevail though, but not by much, just about a second! But hey, a 3/4 of a...

    625... I like it!

Finally took my 625 (-8, .45ACP) to the range for it's baptism on Friday. What was that that they used to say on "Wayne's World" ? "scwhiinngg", yeah that's it.:neener: Seriously tho, what a nice revolver, shot to point of aim at 15 yards, just about where I would have set the sights myself...

    Fire damage?

A good friend and co-worker was one of the unfortunate people to have their home burn during the fire this past weekend, they escaped with their lives, just, driving through walls of flame and downed "hot" power lines. He had zero time to get any of his firearms out, as they woke up to smoke...

    Colt .32ACP Pics?

A fellow I know has the pistol above for possible sale. I was wondering if anyone has a pic(s) and if anyone knows what ballpark pricing might be on these? I don't know condition yet, have not seen it yet, but assume decent general condition. I want to be fair with him, but don't want to get...

    My b-day present

This came today, missed arriving on the actual day by one, but that just increased the happiness on arrival. It's the Chris Reeve Shadow III model and I'm looking forward to using it as a hiking, camping etc. knife. Very stout to the tip, but sharp, sharp, sharp. Between this and my...

    Dawson "pocketknife"

Picked this up at a gun show yesterday. The kydex sheath has a curled/bent over bit on the back side that acts like a pocket clip, so you can carry a small fixed blade with you all the time, w/o having it on you belt or around your neck. Very neat little knife. OAL is 7.25", blade is 3.25...

    Fist holsters

Received the Fist holster I'd ordered for my CZ 97 awhile ago. It's a nicely done OWB, FBI cant. Nice snug fit, I loosened it up just a bit by wrapping pistol in wax paper and leaving it shoved into the holster for a couple days, now it's perfect. They beat their advertised delivery time by...

    Cz 97b

Picked up my new CZ 97 last week and put some rounds through it on Saturday. Very nice platform to launch .45ACP projectiles from! It shoots to point of aim, (20yds) nice, no messing with sights (especially being fixed!) and soaks up recoil nicely. I fed it several varieties of ammo and it ate...

    I was bad today

I went to a local shop today to buy some ammo, ended up perusing the handguns (big surprise). Handled a few I'd not touched before, talking to the clerk, I said "let me see that CZ 97" and gave a once over (I've probably once-overed this pistol about 20 times before:rolleyes: ). Next thing I...

    Lee Loadmaster

I bought one of these recently, my first progressive machine, always used the simple hand deal before. Well, I'm sure it must be me, but I can't seem to make the *#%%^$& thing work at all. Had the wife look at it, as she has a very analytical mind and has a knack for understanding instruction...

Just thought I'd share a pic of my new Tucker holster, model HF-2. Great holster, will take full size or commander.

    New grip frenzy!

Well, frenzy may be a bit strong, but this past week has brought me three new sets of grips; Simonich Gunner grips for my SA Champion, Hakan Ambione burl for my CZ and now Alumagrips for my SA full size. I've already posted a pic of my Champion & the Gunner grips, so I'm only going to post the...

    SA Champion

Just picked this up today, cleaned & lubed and straight to the range. Put the Simonich "Gunner Grips" I got from Rob on it and put a couple of boxes of ammo down range. No problems, zip, zilch, nada. Worked like a dream. Shoots to point of aim at 7 & 10 yards, good for my purposes. Gunner grips...

    No name grips

Got these at a gun show today, really improves the feel of the revolver. They are a bit longer than the stock grips too, which is a plus for me. These are the first finger groove grips I've ever had, may have to try some on my other wheelguns now.
