    I have coon troubles.

Metal frame with a plastic barrel. These coons climb up the poles and grab onto the cage that covers the motor. We have some blurry pics and then think that they get up there and shake the hell out of the cage to get the corn to fall out.

    Hunting with handguns.

I already had 45/70 rifles so the BFR in 45/70 was a logical choice for me. Dies, brass and all the needed reloading components helped make the choice easy. The .475/.480 would be a good choice if I was to do it again. I'm watching a local sale on a .500 BFR in hopes that the price drops a...

    I have coon troubles.

I really don't care if they eat the corn, they are being destructive to the machinery.

    I have coon troubles.

No, afraid not. The latest game camera pics revealed a small army of the little bandits. I have 9 feeders and each location had at least 5-8 coons at night and about 2-5 during the day. I have no problem eating coon, but I would be the only one eat them. I was raised to eat what I kill.

    I have coon troubles.

We have cages these coons are crafty and hang from the cage and reach in and grab from the bottom. Property owner does not permit traps he want them dead. I have shot 6 off the feeders and a few below the feeders when the deer have cleared out.

    I have coon troubles.

Well my feeders do. My BIL suggested using carpet tack strips tied to the poles will prevent the suckers from climbing up and having a free for all on my feeders. Any other ideas?

    Hunting with handguns.

No issues extracting. The cylinder is slicker than snot. Magnum Research did an excellent job on this revolver. I have had lots of deer come within range but nothing I wanted to take at the time. Mostly young deer that do not know any better.

    Glock or XD

My first auto was a Ruger P95...I grew up shooting revolvers and I thought I sucked with this handgun. Bought a Glock 31 soon after. The differences was night and day. My groups cut in half. I then figured it was pistol not me. Sold the P95 and I'm a long time Glock owner. Sold the G31, and...

Not again.......! Feral Hog Control in East Texas

The land we hunt is located in Del Rio just over 2k with access to a section of a 10k ranch. We have two kinds of turkeys, axis, whitetails, and any predators and varmints open for hunting. There are about 300 goats that is after they pulled over 900 of the little bastards off the place. These...

Simply amazing! No hogs on our place. Plenty of goats ruining our feeders. We put up fence around our feeders recently the cameras tell us it has been successful in keep them out but still allowing the deer to get to the corn.
