    Colorado Weapons Ban

This year it looks like it might have legs. I'm not banking on Polis doing the right thing and letting it die again.

    Colorado Weapons Ban

You are correct. Politics, in the very tight scope of how it directly relates to antigun laws and legislation is on topic. All Republicans this, or all Democrats that is not.

    Colorado Weapons Ban

Who cares if what I own now is grandfathered in? I can not legally pass them on to my kids once this passes.

    so called cowboy "assault rifles"

While I do not care for the stock, I absolutely love everything else about this rifle. It just needs a can.

How are these guys getting any accuracy shooting like this?

Shooting rifles off a bench is boring, at least BPCR is interesting. Their barrels weigh more than most AR-15s and some long range rigs. To each their own.

    Colorado Weapons Ban

I will not force others to comply is more of what I meant. I know my current boss will never enforce this, but who knows what the next election will bring. But I will never enforce or force other to comply with this. I will do everything I can to fight it.

    so called cowboy "assault rifles"

I love the idea of a suppressed Marlin with a red dot sight in 45-70. Call it whatever you want, I don't care, I still want one.

    Colorado Weapons Ban

The next step is, and I'll dig up the bill, is a requirement for all firearms owners to carry liability insurance. Which will require registration.

    Colorado Weapons Ban

I have attached the text of the upcoming Colorado Assault Weapons Ban. This is a ban on almost all firearms and there is absolutely nothing we can do to stop it. I for one will not comply and this reminds me to renew my RMGO membership. We are in for a long fight.

    358 Winchester 444 marlin or 45/70?

I'd go with 45-70 but in a Marlin. I love my JM 1895G. Though the 358 is interesting to me. Or you could step up to 375 Ruger or 375 H&H and have the best of both worlds. A fairly heavy bullet that is perfectly suited for big game far past 250y.

This topic, or ones very much like it, pop up all the time. And time and time again the correct answer has been, and always will be, a Howdah Pistol.

Ruger Mini-14 vs. AR-15 - Which one and why?

This seems like more than enough for this round of X vs Y. It's been a while since we did this particular version, but we are still unable to accept that someone might like something different...

My Child Is Pretty Curious, Do You Lock Up Your Guns?

Stores are fine. Home storage requires a locking storage device. I'll be honest, I don't know the exact wording of the law. My kids were taught gun safety from a very early age. They know not to touch with out me being present or to tell their friends I have them. And they are all locked up if...

My Child Is Pretty Curious, Do You Lock Up Your Guns?

Colorado state law requires all fires to be stored in a locking storage cabinet of some kind. I always comply with the law.

    M2 Ball Yaw?

This is why we can't have nice things. When making claims, for or against an argument, it is the responsibility of the person making the claim to provide proof. Otherwise their statement is just opinion. That goes for both sides of the argument. If you make a claim you must back it up. Simple as...

I see a lot of churches giving blanket permission or having a lot more people on the security team. My church is pretty pro gun.
