Well, live and learn. I contacted Eagle Squadron Productions http://www.eaglesquadron.net/ and sent them an e-mail. I don't think I was derogatory. Was I?
Here is the email.
To whom it may concern,
I love what you are doing but unfortunately I cannot afford a Bounty Hunter Special. I'm...
I like it. I've never really cared for the look of the AR15 on steroids. But this one looks good.
As for the price that is the retail price. One can find a dealer that will get one for you for 10% over dealer price. Dealer price should be somewhere around $1200-$1300.
That's a little out...

I purchased a Mini-14 many years ago at the local gun shop. I was looking at a Rossi 92 SRC in 357 Magnum but the very pretty lady showed me the Mini-14 and said it was a better weapon and used the same ammo the M16 did. I did not know a lot about it so I purchased the Mini-14. It was OK. But...
The reason the 45 Colt was not chambered in a lever action was because Colt had propriety ownership. It was also an official military round.
I read that information somewhere. Usually I copy everything of interest. I'll find it and post it.
WOW!!!!! I have never heard of the Beretta Stampede. I just checked the webpage http://www.berettausa.com/product/spotlight/spotlight_stampede_main.htm
It is beautiful to say the least. I'm going to check it out. I was considering the USFA Rodeo or Cimarron Model 'P'.
You can not go wrong...
I've never posted here because I do not have a handgun. But now it seems that my wish has come true. I received my Guns of the Old West today. In there is an advertisement for Cimarron F.A. Co. with a STAINLESS Model 'P'. Calibers will be 45 Colt and 357 Magnum with 4.75", 5.5" and 7.5" barrels...
Go with your instincts 357Man.
But I have to add my own 2 cents.
Since you already load for the 357 and 44 Mag and you stated that you are interested in a lever action go for a lever in those calibers. You can always pick a 30-06 later. They make a lever in 30-06 too.
Winchester...
Leadbutt,
What mount did you use on your Rossi 92 to make it a Lever Scout?
The tang sight is an interesting thought for a Lever Scout. I have the AO Ghost ring sights on my Lever Scout Carbine.
My Lever Scout Carbine is a Winchester 1894-1994 Wrangler SRC with the Leopold M8 Scout...
