Glock Gen 5 +2 Mag Problems

A lot of pressure from the new mags on the underside of the slide. Load the magazines and let them sit a couple days. Then load and unload them many times for the next couple days. You should be able to load them easier by hand and then test fire again. Those 12 round magazines have some tight...

    Banks no gun signs

No Whiskey and I brought that point up to the district manager. They tell you no firearms and then they don't have an armed guard there if needed. I told them if they are going to restrict me, they are then liable to take over but they couldn't because there was no armed guard. These places...

    Banks no gun signs

Kc gun, you're from my neck of the woods. I'm in the kc area. Care to share which banks you see that do not have the signs. I will say the credit unions I've been to have the signs but they are not the legally required signs so they don't really carry the force of law, if there was any in mo...

    Banks no gun signs

I've been with the same bank for about 20 years. All the sudden they decided o put up no gun signs. I called and talked to the district regional manager and did the no guns no business thing. He hemmed and hawed about really meaning open carry but the fact remains, they're bowing to current pc...

    RCBS priming arm parts

Yep. That sounds like them. I'm sure dillon and the others are just as good, but I've used rcbs for many years and they've never let me down. No reason to switch at this point. Glad it worked out for you.

    RCBS priming arm parts

Good luck. Let us know how it went after you call them.

    RCBS priming arm parts

Agree with RC. Call them. They will help you all they can. I just called them cause I wanted to buy the plastic pieces in their aps priming system on a pro2000, to have on hand in case something broke. They sent me the pieces and wouldn't even talk about charging me even though the ones I have...

To all Pro 2000 or Piggyback users - Please help me out.

I would tend to agree with GW. It seems like a solution looking for a problem that really doesn't exist. If you need one, great. I sure wouldn't replace the ones I have with these. The ones I use all work without ANY issues.

    .38sp brass folding when crimping

Check the adjustments on the crimp die. Something doesn't sound like it set up right. Do any rounds come out ok?

Do you own a progressive reloading press?

Just bought a Pro2000 a few weeks ago. Great press and count me as one of those that realy likes the aps strips.

Tried to ship via UPS - What did I do wrong?

Quite frankly UPS stinks. I have other words for them, but this is a public forum. Every time I send a gun back to the man or another ffl, I use Fed-ex. I can take it to their outlets where UPS has to go through the service center, which happens to be quite a ways away from me. For firearms, DO...

    New 686 trigger sound question

Thanks again. It shoots great. Just wish I could shoot as good as it's capable of. Like earplug says, when it's got a live round in it and I pull the trigger, I don't notice it. Strange! Guess I'll just chalk it up to actually getting a well fitted smith. It does have a nice smooth trigger. Wish...

    New 686 trigger sound question

I just picked up a new 686 6". The trigger is pretty smooth and consistent on the revolver but I have a question. When pulled DA it's not as bad but when pulled SA, I am getting a very hollow, ping, or tinty type sound when the hammer falls. Is this normal? I've not had another new revolver do...

    Newer revolver makes strange noise

Got a newer M27 that I've put about 1500 rounds through. It works fine. I just have a question. It's always done this but after I put a Wolff standard power spring kit in it, it "seems" like it does it more. When I pull the trigger, I get a ping or tinty sound. Is this normal for a new revolver...

    New m27 trigger question

10-4. Won't be a problem shooting it a bunch!!! I've put about 1500 rounds through it with little change. I did talk to a gunsmith at Brownells and he said it sounds to him like the hand is just slightly wide. He said to see if that's the problem, loosen or remove the sideplate screws and try...

    New m27 trigger question

Thanks again. The only thing stoned was a few pieces (rebound slide and mating surfaces, etc) and the frame (where those surfaces touch). Nothing was done to the hammer sear or trigger critical points. All I was after was to get rid of any burrs. Nothing damaging was done. The stoning on the...

    New m27 trigger question

Thanks Old Fuff. I have done that experiment and the action is very smooth with no roughness with the cylinder out. The window was stoned and is not rubbing. I understand? that the cylinder should lock up just slightly before the hammer drops. This one locks up quite a bit before the hammer...

    New m27 trigger question

OK, follow up to original question. I took the gun to a buddy who know a bit about revolvers and had him do some clean up on the insides to smooth the trigger some. The trigger is smoother until the last 1/16 to 1/8" pull. He determined that the issue is with the timing. The cylinder is locking...
