I have a VX-I 2-7x33 on a Marlin 336 in 30-30. I have about 300 rounds through that gun with no problems with the scope yet. I zeroed it at 100 yards about three years ago and it hasn't changed. I have no complaints about the optics quality, the scope does its job.
