Look in your local phone book for a machine shop close to you. Tell them what you want and I'm sure that they can do it. Carbide will cut through just about any steel.
The nature of business.
This sort of thing is very common in any retail sales situation. To stay in business the shop must pay less for the guns than the true value. The clerk of the store wants to be paid, there are costs such as rent and utilities that have to be covered.
This applies to...
The cost of raw materials is what is driving the cost of reloading. With the price of copper going through the roof, brass and guilding metal have followed. Even lead has gone up in price.
This so depends on what I am wearing. In general, I carry a 1911A1 in my right front pocket. Yes, I am a large man and have pants with big pockets. On some of my dress pants, the pockets are a little smaller, and so I will carry a CZ52. I have also been known to stick guns like a S&W M&P (K...
Thanks Radagast
The fun thing about this gun is the lack of the normal markings and proofs. It would be nice to know why the gun is so lacking in markings. I may have to bite the bullet and spend the 50 bucks to have S&W do a letter.
As to the thing about running down the road in a kilt, that...
Getting back to the case at hand. I find it hard to believe that a thirteen year old boy had no idea that pulling a trigger would result in anything other than the gun firing. There is the issue of him leaving a cartridge in the chamber, that has happened to others with some training. The real...
We all know that they are walking into the gun shops along the border and picking up all the machine guns / assault rifles. We need to stop the sales here in the US of unregulated full autos over the counter. We are after all causing all of Mexico's problems.
Now as to reality, I highly doubt...
I just picked this one up. It is a fourth change M&P in 38S&W. The number is 7759xx. From what little I know, this appears to have been made about 1940, with the intent of it being a lend / lease gun. It does have some British proofs, but is lacking in the normal BNP and ton proofs. With the...
Wooden tipped blanks.
In general these are blanks used in machine guns. As to cycling the action, I spent a great weekend chewing up the brush in front of our Vickers position. We shot about 2000 of these during that reneactment. The wood bullet provides the proper feeding surfaces. The Vickers...
The technique that next need be applied is to expand the range of this ruling. Heller asked the court only to require that DC grant him a license. We next need to wedge this in two directions. The first is to remove the apparent right of the governmental agency to charge for the license, on...
I tend to towards the more sensible.
This is probably a bit too much for a CCW. If you like rifle calibers try the Automag III in 30 carbine. It can actually be carried in a pocket, and draws reasonably well.
Here's a link:

I have a similar problem.
I get this type of delay every time I fill out a 4473. The delay will take from a few hours to a couple of days. In my case it is due to the security clearances I have had.
The funny thing is that I have a C&R, and so have been fully vetted by BATF as a collector...

Let's extend the idea.
This may be a good place to extend this idea to the federal level.
We need in this case a federal law that puts the exact same restrictions on state and local government that apply to the citizens of that governmental unit. If a state has a ban on large capacity...
Living in a good town is no protection.
The sad thing about this story is that the crime took place in a good town. West Covina is an upscale area, with what is considered to be a low crime rate.
1919
It depends on how I feel. On a bad night, I just might grab the 1919 with a 200 round belt and let it all hang out. I do like usmarine0352_2005's choice, but in the dark I tend to trip over the power cord.
Otherwise, I use a Ithaca 37 with #4 buck, just hold the trigger down and pump. I...
Should have set up a bullet trap.
Goes to show you that if you want to drill holes in walls, put a proper bullet backstop on the far side. In this case, a 4x4 over the area of exit would have saved the day.
