The tax stamp is a federal requirement. I don't see how Ohio could make that disappear. I would love to see suppressors taken out of the NFA. There is no reason for them to be in there (the whole NFA needs to go away, but suppressors are an easier bite of that pie).
Really, if you are going to do something like that, use Mylar bags with both oxygen and moisture absorbent packs stuffed in them. Then vacuum seal.

To add to Theohazards post, the suppressor will also knock down the flash of the shot appreciably so you aren't blinded.

Nope, never have. I have never had a problem yet either. My older mil-surp mags I usually update with new springs and followers if that counts. My new magazines I just load and shoot.

If you find out any information on the battery life please post it along with your experience once you get yours. Maybe test it by leaving it on and seeing how long the battery lasts. Inquiring minds want to know ;)
