Hand-held light dedicated to use with handgun recommendation .

If your 6P uses a P60 drop in you could replace it with a Malkoff Devices drop in module.

    Taurus Total Copper replacement

I still have some of the Taurus bullets and love the fact they are standard pressure. I believe the bullet is the same, as Barnes changed the name from XPB to Tac-XP I have also tried the Black Hills Tac-XP 185gr. +P load and they shoot very well with a slight increase in felt recoil. These are...

Rechargeable batteries in your pistol flashlights?

Some flashlights might not be able to handle the additional voltage of the RCR123/16340 batteries which will be 4.2v each off the charger.

XD subcompact 45 vs Kahr CW45

I'm confused about what model Xd you are referring to. There is no such thing as an XD45 subcompact. There is an XD45 compact with a 4" barrel and shorter grip with a 10 round mag and a 13 rd mag with a grip extension giving it a full size grip. There is also the XDS in 45 which I don't think...

The G36 and G30 use the same recoil spring :)

    What's in your 45?

HST and hydrashok aren't the same thing. The HST is on that list of approved loads the hydrashok is not.

Speer Gold Dot vs Winchester PDX1 in 9mm

I would choose Gold Dots of the two simply because the Gold Dots can be easily found in 50 round LE boxes for not much more than the PDX1 in 20 round boxes.

    I cannot choose a 9mm Luger JHP!

I would consider anything on this list a good starting point. http://ammo.ar15.com/project/Self_Defense_Ammo_FAQ/index.htm#9mm

    Tactical Flashlight Help

The TLR-1 is a great light but I personally wouldn't call it a "quick detach" light which is one of the requirements the thread starter requested. I'm not sure about the TLR-3 but it appears to mount the same way as the TLR-1. Maybe something like this would better suit his needs...

    TAP vs. PDX1

I e-mailed Doubletap and they do still use the Gold Dot for the Bonded Defense. I got confused because the thread was TAP(which uses the XTP) bullet and they used to use that and switched to montana gold. Sorry!
  17. M

    TAP vs. PDX1

Doubletap is using the Montana Gold bullet instead of the Gold Dot.

    TAP vs. PDX1

Doubletap is not using the Speer Gold Dot bullet anymore.

Why are all the PM9's gone?

Kahr's need a 200 round break in. I would personally put 200 rounds through any gun I planned to carry anyway so I don't consider that an issue.
