Buying a house so it's time for a safe. My local Academy has the Canon brand, the $800 one looks like it'll work for me. The fire rating is 1200 for 60min. Is this enough? Or should I look at another brand? Thoughts/Recommendations?

I have boiled down to a GP100 .357 or Redhawk 44 for my revolver. I will shoot only .38's out of the GP100. This will be mostly a range/fun gun but it might pull some house gun duty. Which should I choose and why?

What mods, if any, have you done to your CZ? I've read the trigger can be gritty and heavy, so I plan on polishing the internals and swapping out the mainspring for a #15. What about the recoil spring?
